Coiler: Cool vid and awesome camera work/angles!👍:D That flowers/grass whiplash effect is a nice touch.;)

GT5P has it also, though it hasn't got no where near as much flower/grass sticking up as this so it is much less noticable. You can see a huge amount of grass and general improvements on Fuji in these demos over GT5P.

at the moment there are a lot videos showing us how the game is getting better and better but there is no vid that shows real ingame night racing or some typical gt ingame stuff, i mean the gt world map or oldschool skylines or something like that
i would like to see some gtauto screens or a movie

by the way , will there be a official book like those for gt3 and gt4, too ??? there where a lot of nice hints even for pro drivers

Guys, please some one confirm to me that gt5 will have 16cars in game!!
As it stands, yes it will. We've had this confirmed a number of times. The demos likely run a lower number as they are development builds and the less strain you put on a development build the better.

Thanks:tup:

Real race tracks will probably have 16 cars.It could be change wide and narrow in fictional or city tracks.
i dont think there will be 16 cars in Eiger Nordwand and Ring..They are too narrow to overtake during race. I am fine with every track wont have 16 players.

Exact Patriotzero.
16 on Eiger, London, Paris, (lot of City track too) will not very interesting because it's so close road. I think 8 or 10 is enough

But 16 cars for Le Mans, Nurb, and F1, GT tracks like Fuji, Monza, ect..) will be just fantastic and epic.

Haha, 16 cars round London........ with damage!

Not something I want to think about.

No cars are reflected
You won't find a video game with car reflections in other car's surfaces. The computing power to do this is very processor taxing.

We've become so spoiled in just a few years. Does anyone remember how awesome the first 3DFX cards made PC games look, or how many thought the Saturn, PS1, Dreamcast or PS2 looked like the living end of game graphics? Nice particle and smoke effects, transparency, physics? So now we have a game that looks like freaking real life film footage, and some people still complain.

Actually Shift has if I remember well. PS3 version of course.

It's not really a matter of being possible or not because it certainly is. It's more of a developer choice. PD chose not to use processing power in this reflection detail so they could employ it elsewhere.

Spoiled is the right word i think, seems like nitpicking over details i couldn't even imagine becoming available since i played the very first Test Drive game on a PC ( didn't even have a colour screen, just greenish pixelated heaven back then ).
I could perhaps point out many things i would like to see differently in GT, but graphics or the way they are implemented isn't one of them.
But maybe i'm getting too old, or just have an outdated frame of reference. ;)

Forza 3...

I understand it right?I mean in GT 3,4,5p,5 other cars are not reflected in your car.In Forza 2,3 you can clearly see other car reflected.

One thing is the reflection of the others cars in your hood, this effect is in some games, and Shift is one of them like you said, but the reflection IN OTHERS cars.... Nop, i don't know any car game that have this effect.

Well, if that^ is true, then Slightly Mad really skimped on something somewhere, which would explain why some people complained fairly loudly about the physics.

There are games with that kind of reflection, but is more a trick than a reflection, what they do is put the same image that you see with the hood cam over the hood of your car with much more low resolution, but you only can see that effect if you use the hood cam or the driver cam and is only in your car, the other cars and the rest of your car don't have any reflection of other cars at all.
