He tried to kill Barrichello after he topped the lap board, it's so obviously him ;)
 
Although, looking at Ben's Wiki, and all the times he's appeared on Top Gear as himself, it's not that much of a surprise. When Richard had his crash he was listed as helping Top Gear with "high performance car tests" which would imply that he was the Stig. So...looking back, it's no surprise that Ben is the Stig. It is almost a surprise we didn't figure it out. I mean, all the time he's been with Top Gear and some how he never did a lap in the resonably priced car? Well, actually, he did.

To be fair, alot of us did figure it out. Quite a few years ago.

Do you really believe that Top Gear is ruined over this, or are you just being dramatic? It's not like Top Gear hasn't gone through this before (black Stig). Ben has had a good run and now we get a new Stig, complete with all the speculation that goes with the title. Plus, owen.c93 is right, Ben has been the suspected driver for quite a bit.

The BBC needs to learn to turn these types of things into favorable advertising, not engage in fruitless and dopey lawsuits.

We wouldn't be having this conversation if he didn't write the book. And black stig wasn't anywhere near the icon of Collins' stig. I think it hasn't ruined that part of the show, but it has definitely dulled it.

You mean the snowing scene where the car is driving away? That was made by PD for christmas 2008 if I remember correctly.

Possibly revealing about GT5 though? At least we know PD has looked at these track models again fairly recently...
 
In all the videos and pictures I've seen, no matter how extensive the damage is, all the glass on the car is INTACT.

That's because all cars have to be depicted as being safe for the driver. It would have been nice to see it shatter though.

No. It's not visible from the cockpit view (if it were, you couldn't see anything after deforming the hood lol). It is visible from the hood cam.

You can confirm what I'm saying by checking out the video Jordan posted on his last article (or one of the last ones).

I disagree, but I don't think it really matters, as it's all so very personal. :) My curiosity was just peaked by your choice of words, which I guess might just be due to disappointment.
 
...Grid, Dirt 2, the upcoming WRC. I wonder if it is an excuse, the damage I mean, no other licensee seems so restricted.
