I prefer the cockpit view that you can see more of the track on, the newer view is hard to see out of. Guess that's why it is realistic, lambo's are hard to see out of after all :D

I disagree, go back to Forza if you feel that way, fanboy.

;)

Assuming, able to speak the strange coded language he seems to use or "blessed" with a 6th sense?

Try this one to prove you're the genuine article: '' ' ( hope it doesn't offend you ).;)

Please abide to the AUP, correct grammar is expected. ;)

Now to keep this on topic, here's some demo footage from Canada. EDIT, actually that's been posted before. Sorry.

Ok guys dont flame for no reason.

This game is a simulator and i bought myself a g27 wheel with 6 speed transmission.

I played gt5p

I want to know that will gt5 be really a simulator? I mean will the car stall? Can u mess up ur clutch? burn it out?

also will this help u drive a manual in rl better or worse?

Maybe. In terms of racing, yeah, it will probably give you a good idea of how to drive fast with a standard transmission equipped car (which isn't very hard to do even if you can't drive a standard well). In terms of everyday driving, no. One of the most important things in driving a standard is balancing the clutch in stop and go traffic, and I doubt you'll see much of this in GT5.

I could take that as a light hearted joke... but the guy is seriouz bizness about hating anything from Sony >_>

Lol really? How do you know?

Edit:@Kusogaki Oh, I see.

Hilarious indeed but I wonder if the guy who did the video ever seen a real world crash like this one :)

Edit2:

Haha I know, I saw it live back than on tele and instantely thought about GT. The commentators were also puzzled at that sight lol.

I don't know... it's just a conclusion I came after reading his username "Killfail 2" and clicked to see his profile and the comments he did\received...
Even the description of the video... kind of obnoxious... trollish even.

Or maybe that's just his hobby, who knows.

That video of the BMW crashing is quite funny actually. it just bounces off the wall? I'd like to see what the crashed side looked like. prolly near to nothing in the way of damage.:odd:
GT5 FTW!!!

jgtc_lover said everything, but I'm going to complement his/her answer with my own experience.

I don't own a G27, but a Driving Force GT. For racing, both can help you. But for everyday driving, they not only don't help, but mess up. I've been using a wheel (the DFGT) to play since before I got my driver's license, and during some time, in real cars, I used to turn the wheel too quickly (which is obviously very dangerous at high speeds) because I was used to do that in GT4. My mother even told me to stop with the game.

And my wheel doesn't have a clutch. With the G27, maybe you get used also not to balance the clutch, as to race you don't need to do that.

Summarizing: it may make you a better racer, but a worse everyday driver.

One thing I just noticed that is different about the gloves. On the GT5 retrospective trailer at 1:25 in the driver is wearing Adidas gloves and not the GT branded gloves.... weird just thought I would share.

Its all about control... i understand the part about steering but i really dont do that. Hopefully this game doesnt **** me up while driving a manual in traffic rofl

So now Dale Earnhardt Jr is in the game, not just his car. Same could apply to other Nascar pilots then.

Part of Jr's outfit? Most likely.

All the NASCAR driver's uniforms have been correctly depicted from NASCAR's inclusion, I think!
