What about the 800+cars that are in PSP GT? They are not on the list, and they are portable to GT5 are they not? Isn't this a confirmed feature of PSP GT?
Its been said no where that all cars from PSP would be included in GT5.

Thanks for the feedback Jimmy903. Yes, you will be the envy of your friends when Gran Turismo 5 comes out with all the cars you unlock in Gran Turismo
In the interview, Yamauchi confirmed that you'll be allowed to bring your entire collection of cars earned in Gran Turismo PSP into GT5 without penalty. "The PSP version has over 800 cars included, and that number's even higher in GT5," he commented. "I want to get gamers in all sorts of different vehicles, from the latest models to old classics and world-class sports cars. Having the freedom to drive whatever you want is one of the main attractions of GT, after all."
Stephanie Yoshimoto on the PlayStation Blog has said All.
And now 1Up says Yamauchi is confirming all cars.

I'm still not convinced that they mean 100% yet, but the word "All" has been used by the Senior Product Marketing Manager for the US group working on the game.
We have gone over this time and time again, Skylines did not take the place of any other car.TBH thats not satisfying news. I was hoping they'd cut some Japanese cars like the Skylines and Lancers (not that I hate them, in face I love Lancers, but c'mon? 30+ variants? Even 15 is understandable) but it seems its not as much effort as you'd expect. Why? Because after modeling say a '95 Integra, it won't be hard to just copy it and rename it as the '99 version. Same goes with all the other cars. And, I just feel uneasy thinking of all those variants, in whose place could have been so many more classics, muscles, European sport cars.
But they (I hope) are not wasting time with those cars. (I guess) They just copy-paste and change the specs like weight and HP.TBH thats not satisfying news. Thanks for that vid.I'll be disappointed if it really is "all"; so many are just different-market versions (two Orecas, three Tiburons, etc etc), and it also means only about 100 cars that aren't in the PSP version. Unless of course the 950+ number is extremely conservative.
Car at 0:25... what is that? The ASL?
Under Lexus.IS350 (WedsSport SuperGT '08)
I like the new ASL! Wedsport looks really awesome too.
They say all your collection can be transferred from GT PSP to GT5.
all your collection can be transferred
your collection
100 car limit on transfer (I think).
So the only way the both of those can be true, is if the player owns 100 car in their garage (presumably that's ALL you can have), and they're the ones that are common between GTPSP and GT5.
Also, that Lexus and ASL make my eyes hurt.
1000 car limit in GT4.
The 95' Integra is different from the 99; slight cosmetic changes and larger rims. Believe a retuned suspension too... .
Also, I actually hope they don't just update models from GT4 to GT5. I want an E46 M3 just as much as an E90. That's the point of the game; an encyclopedia of cars. Hell, I still want all the old GT1 and 2 LM editions back.
Where did you get that 100 car figure? I have just gone through the in-game manual and it says nothing of the sort. I would test this but with no GT5 I can't . All I know is that the option just says Transfer Car Collection Data and when I select it tries to do it without mentioning anything about a maximum number, and of course then it gives me an error. They say all your collection can be transferred from GT PSP to GT5.

Whoa whoa whoa. Since when can we only have 100 cars in our garage? I own 168 cars in GT PSP. I can only display up to 100 at a time as the display options are "Last 100 Acquired" "Last 100 Driven" "By Favorite" and "List By Manufacturer" If I want to look at them all I just list them by manufacturer and can select smaller lists of one manufacturer at a time. I have access to all 168 of my cars.So the only way the both of those can be true, is if the player owns 100 car in their garage (presumably that's ALL you can have),
I forgot that one. Looks like I didn't understand what he was saying. The French article that first referred to "possibilité d'uploader une centaine de véhicules obtenus dans le GT sur PSP".
The possibility to upload a hundred of the vehicles obtained from GT on PSP.
I forgot that one. Looks like I didn't understand what he was saying.
I'm wary of translations. I am still leaning toward believing what the product marketing manager said, since that is the only non-translated thing I've read so far, but I agree that it still isn't confirmation enough mean that every single version of every car from GT PSP will transfer over.
If that is the case then the unlocalized cars will all be in GT5 and I have to believe that they want to avoid the backlash from that.
The best example of this, just because it is blatant in GT PSP (it even says it in the details page) is the Hyundai Tiburon.OT - How do you mean, "localised" ? (Yes I'm Australian, we use Z's less often than you guys!)
