GT5 Master Track List (NOT a wishlist)

The video doesn't show the whole track, so no tunnel can be seen there.

You can see at the beginning, the car begins its run just after the right hander (the little kink near the top), so it's virtually at the top of the map, and the tunnel in the other video is far too long and straight to go anywhere between the top roundabout and where the car starts its run.

In fact the video begins on what is clearly a suspension bridge of some kind (you can see the cables and the H frames).

Edit: Sorry scratch that, no it doesn't. The map is far longer than I'd imagined.

The lines would match up, but that part of SSR7 looked flat, and SSR11 goes downhill at that point.
I guess you're right.
So the tight section is not from SSR11.
Still, I hope for a final huge circuit connecting all the Routes together :)

The image is correct. The run starts from just over halfway down the map, and continues slightly past the start point in the other direction. It's a 14+ mile loop, and the distance covered in the video is plainly far less than that.

The Suspension bridge is to the left of the biggest bend in the map, the end of the red line is correct, but the start is a bit off.
That bend is only driven once, just before the car spins. The first right hander is a tiny little bend that's not very obvious on the map.

One thing that could be said about this new SS Route 7 track.
It could be used to achieve the top speed trophies.

sod that, someone translate this:

"Boss, you can't dismiss me !"

"You were late 10 times this month, you should buy a watch!"

"It is very nice my GT watch..."

Because in a french store, a GT watch is offered

GT5 is apparently avalaible in fingerhut (in america).

They called them, and yes, they have it !!!

Please stay on topic here, so that this thread will not get locked.

I am quite surprised I haven't seen any "new" track get unlocked yet. Within a few days we should have a complete list I feel. Got a feeling there will be surprises in store for us, which would be great. Also surprised Nordschleife isn't unlocked from the start. I was hoping to try a WRC-car there the first day. But I like carrots as well, so I can wait until I have deserved it ;)

It could be a "virtual scale model" of a new Special Stage track, but I doubt there will be a proper playable version of that.
It would be nice to see, though.

I was joking, but yeah, watching that clip made me think of your idea of the linked city tracks/highways. :)

So the Grand Tour Special Event says it covers events from Bern to the Italian something..

So some sort of Bern course, possibly involving the Marktgasse street and the network of cobbled streets around there., where we've seen the sports cars lining up.

Edit: thanks for the image dan :)

Edit 2: wow are those dots on the map meaning some other new locations too? There's a bunch of GT5 courses between Bern and Rome so I'd assumed it was those. 2 of the dots will be Toscana and Piazza del Campo, but not sure about the other.

This is a screenshot I pulled from this video

"Go on a tour and take part in a series of events stretching from Bern all the way down the Italia..."

Possible new locations?

EDIT: Beat the Beat beat me to it (no pun intended), but I'll leave the picture up for others to reference.

Maybe toscana road-like random generated courses,or something,we saw something similar in the "gamestop Tuesdays" or something and it featured roadcourses generated by the track creator:

So it looks like San Galgano abbey location will host some sort of event in the grand tour too?

Edit: and the Piazza in San Gimignano, which is also Toscana's representative town.

San Galano might well be the other Toscana-like course maker style with the greener landscape.

Anyone preorder from Best Buy? There's a thread over on the official gt forums that they received confirmation that their credit cards have been charged for the game as of today. Anybody else get an email? Could mean the game has reached Best Buy's distribution centers.

My guess on 'Grand Tour' would be an A-B challenge, but you have to keep an average speed, and the co-pilot gives you info (maps, stopwatches, etc.). I remember seeing a Top Gear episode, similair to this.

Just an idea.

Wow, wait a minute, Grand Canyon mini was also in the credits but it's very unlikely it will be in GT5.

Grand Canyon Mini does not exist. Forward, reverse, end.

@Dan360 Thats like the Mille Miglia AKA the most arduous event in GT4. Buncha 100hp Ginettas and Alfas vs one 427 Cobra...
