Doesn't really matter but I think it might be based on the hills around the most northerly part of Japan, Cape Soya in Hokkaido. Or it could be anywhere or nowhere!
It's hard to see where the land end and the sea starts in the video, I think there's sea at least...

The painted speed limit road markings look similar too.
But still, I don't think it's clearly set in Japan.

Yeah the Speed Limit characters made me think of the 40's on R246.

This track at night would be something elseee, even dusk, wonder if theres unlockable time of days for it.

Would be cool but I doubt it!

It does look like a real expressway though if you didn't see it yesterday:

Watch out for the giant floodlights near the start used to light up the toll area, you see one in the intro and other footage of that track.

The real layout is 18 to 19 miles for the full loop, I think even in a supercar going flat out, the lap times will be longer than Nurburgring. Not one for Fiat 500s.

I like this route finally a place where you can hit a supercar's top speed

I'm really concerned that Midfield isn't on that list :/

I know that's not all the tracks, and that more will unlock...but Midfield REALLY seems like a track that would be in the initial offering, it's a GT standby.

It was always my favorite track :(

Some of the classic tracks also took time to unlock in GT4. However, the official website said that select fan favourites will return and those classics we have seen so far are loved by nearly everyone who played the GT series from day one. Time will tell but question is how much time.

I forget exactly what Kaz said with 20 locations and 70 variations?
In the beginner list there's 64 track variations there and there is 29 individual courses. So I'm guessing (correct me if i'm wrong) there will be 70 different courses in the game, sounds awesome to me!
Hope Red Rock Valley comes back. :)

Cape Ring is AWESOME! Especially the nice jump after the high speed loops. I can tell it's one of the tracks I'll me driving a lot of. :)

+1.

Awesome fictional track.

Edit: Can't wait to see what the public comes up with using the track creator...

Yes, looks great, and the full track should be good too.

CyborgGT has listed it already but the intro shows a Mclaren going round the Cape Ring spiral in the opposite direction. I think it's safe to assume all the fictional courses without reverse options will have unlockable ones.

Anywhere know where this is?

There are large ventilation fans in the ceiling that you get in long mountain tunnels... don't remember these from an old track but I could be wrong.

It's a long straight tunnel, is the one on the Test course even that long?

I'll have a look, I know I've seen those fans in a Burnout game, maybe Test Course also.
Edit: Doesn't fit with the test course. Hopefully a sign of the long Eiger Nordwand track I've been talking about, and looking at that and SSR7 it could be very long...

Edit: Tokyo Tunnel?

This is how you get there

Only test course had a tunnel that long from my recognition. But it's not the same tunnel, so it's new. That LFA is damn sweet! Passing the R8, the Maserati Gran Turismo, and then the MP4!

Ok guys, this video show the dealer showroom and there are 4 "posters" to choose for see how looks the car at diferent conditions of light.

First is a white void, second is Grand Canyon, third Toscana and the fourth looks like New York (The name appears on the left but I can not read it). Can we take these like evidences of undisclosed tracks returning from GT4?
