Q: Given that the Loop Bridge in Cape Ring has very similar road speed markings to the Kawazu Loop Bridge, does this mean that Cape Ring can be considered to be set in Japan?

The painted speed limit road markings look similar too.
But still, I don't think it's clearly set in Japan.
Cape Ring is AWESOME! Especially the nice jump after the high speed loops. I can tell it's one of the tracks I'll me driving a lot of.![]()
Would be cool but I doubt it!
It does look like a real expressway though if you didn't see it yesterday:

Watch out for the giant floodlights near the start used to light up the toll area, you see one in the intro and other footage of that track.
The real layout is 18 to 19 miles for the full loop, I think even in a supercar going flat out, the lap times will be longer than Nurburgring. Not one for Fiat 500s.
I'm really concerned that Midfield isn't on that list :/
I know that's not all the tracks, and that more will unlock...but Midfield REALLY seems like a track that would be in the initial offering, it's a GT standby.
It was always my favorite track![]()

There are large ventilation fans in the ceiling that you get in long mountain tunnels... don't remember these from an old track but I could be wrong.
It's a long straight tunnel, is the one on the Test course even that long?
EDIT: hmm.... maybe not, after all.
I think you nailed it. Hopefully that means more Special Stages or Tokyo tracks.Beat the BeatEdit: Tokyo Tunnel?
That tunnel is a lot shorter. The tunnel .gif could be Trial Mountain, too. The back straight is in a tunnel.
It seems to be a tunnel from SSR7:

Route Seven could be a sprint stage (like a rally stage, but on tarmac).
