Somebody with more than 100 posts want to start a Master Photomode Locations thread?
Probably better just to make a separate list in this thread and maybe rename the title.

edit:
There are these from the FT86 screenshots as well:
Pointed gothic arch...probably somewhere in Germany or France
edit:
Looks like German written on the building to the left.
That was a much earlier build of GT5 however.
Reminds me of RIDGE RACER TYPE IV; every time you unlocked a new car, there was an animation of it being unloaded from the back of a team transport.
Obviously a port. Looks like a LA to me.
DAmmit, that's what I was coming in here to say! It's also where the film Quantum of Solace begins.
So, do we have a list of the photomode locations?
I have seen in neogaf Spa Francorchamps as a confirmed track, someone knows where this info comes from?
Why is it so hard to understand that you can't? Not without a proper 3D modeling tool, texture maker and tons of photos of the track you want to create? Even then you'll be far behind PD, because they spend weeks at the track, measure everything up and everything you can think of. It takes months even for PD to create a track.
Can you read? Good, try reading my posts before you reply. I don't need to create scenic backdrops, or road textures, all I need to do is crate the track layout, nothing more, there's not much to see at QLD Raceway anyway. It clearly says we can dictate track layout, 'nuff said. It won't be perfect but if one spends enough time you could get a pretty good interpretation, or have you never ever heard of rFactor which does exactly as I'm describing albeit with more tools to model the backdrop which is irrelevant.
As we were the first session and had a slight overrun, Kazunori couldnt take many questions. However, he was able to confirm that the number of unique courses available in the game is more than 70″ with the added scope of online Course Maker circuits and that despite their best efforts to respond to criticism about standard car interiors, they were not able to implement cockpit camera (even one similar to GTPSPs) in GT5 a source of some disappointment to Kazunori, who is never happy to let down his fans and is probably his own biggest critic.
Paulie judging by the screens we've been given I'm doubting whether we can create individual track layouts. I get the impression that there will be set parameters and we adjust them according to how tight or flowing we want a circuit. From that we can adjust corner angle width camber course length etc, but I highly doubt we're been given free reign like Mod-Nations in terms of layout.
I'd love to have your idea but they'd have to give us a really simplified version of their real track editor which would probably take a while to develop. Needless to say when I heard track editor I thought QR and Oran Park straight away.
I'm just happy that we have something like this. Not many sim racing games can say that they have a track editor.
There you have it, more than 70 unique tracks!
Yeah, no QLD Raceway after all with these details coming to light.
Would for example Nurburgring GP and Nurburgring Nordschleife count as different unique tracks? Or both as variations of the Nurburgring unique track?
Told you so.Yeah, no QLD Raceway after all with these details coming to light.
That's absolutely not clear there.Unique, but 24 hour and Tourist Nordschleife would not be unique
Told you so.
No, but I told you you were not gonna be able to create real life tracks, more than one time actually. But you were sooo confident that you would, and now you're disapointed. Too bad.So you're a PD insider eh? Good, tell them to get to Australia and at least put some premium Aussie cars in to make the game more enjoyable for me.

You can't be serious!? Nürburgring!? Holy crap, that's awesome news dude!!!!http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=260793
Seems we have Nurburgring, Monza and the yawn yawn Top Gear test track.
Since Piazza del Campo (Siena) appears to be a drivable photo-mode location (only with Karts and Fiat 500s according to a video I watched previously), maybe San Galgano will be too.San Galgano a track, other than a photomode location...could it be?
Maybe Andreas was right.
