GT5 Master Track List (NOT a wishlist)

I believe the screenshot gives a list of folders that contain all the photos taken during the trips of the PD team, not the folders containing the 3D track files.

So, there is no actual confirmation... but a very strong hint.
And that is why you won't find any of the fictional GT tracks on that list.

Good guess, but having pics of Pikes Peak for example is really a strong hint.
I doubt they took a lot of photos back then for GT2. ;)

But they won't just ditch the pictures they took of a certain town/track/road(s) and not make a track out of it. Wasted effort otherwise.

When directors make a movie, they sure ditch plenty of film.
It is much easier to take pictures than build a whole 3D setting out of it. The question is: what eventually makes it to the cut?

Weren't Tahiti Road and Grindelwald basically made up anyways?

I think they used the locations as inspiration for the sceneries, while the track layouts were made-up.
Now that they want tracks based on accurate real-life locations, it is likely that they ditched these old layouts. Which doesn't exclude a "rebuild" from newly acquired data.

Wow, so the faith lives on!! Great news, even if not 100% confirmation just yet. But now that it's leaked, they must put those in :D Just like Karts

Thanks for the info !!!!

This is freaking amazing!! Of course its not full confirmation, but a great hint.

@SHIRAKAWA Akira Can you make out the top folder? All of the folders after that are in that folder. So the title should be very important. Also, thank you for your help on this. 👍

Never understodd the love for Grindlewald. It's got the odd nice bend here and there, but I always found it to be missing the X factor.

Unfortunately, the video quality is too low for me to be able to understand the more complex characters there. I took several screenshots, but I've been unable so far to read that.

What I can make out of the top folder name is:
[???????] Course
(or "Courses")
Not very helpful...

I agree however that the general impression (from other folder names, or at least what I can make out of them) is that it's a folder of source material for modelling tracks that might end up in GT5.

Ok, thank you for the reply.

By the way the one of the tracks you have listed ??????? America ???. Is it possibly Road America?

Also, I zoomed in and the one you have listed as ?f-3000, I am almost sure that says P1-3000. Wish I knew what it could refer to though.

How come nobody here is jumping up and down at Bandimere Raceway which is primarily a drag strip (in addition to being a karting track, true) and might be a clue to a drag racing mode?

The Pikes Peak folder also might contain both Pikes Peak Hill Climb (PPHC) and Pikes Peak International Raceway (PPIR), that's possible since there's a lack of ovals for Nascar races from what we know so far.

I was just about to jump up and down for that because I was just saying how there just HAD to be another drag strip besides the Las Vegas Strip, a true straight arrow drag strip.

But then how come they aren't using many NASCAR circuits\ovals? Bristol, Talladega, Phoenix??

Leaked Track List.
Try to use Ctrl+ to zoom in

If this is true then it is great. Hopefully they will bring back Red Rock valley and GT1 SSR11

It's looking like some of the old tracks beyond GT4 are on there radar, not just new ones.
Rome Night at GT5 specs would be great. :)

Ok, so its not 3000 anything.

It is ?1-jxo or something similar. I'm not really good at this, but I gave it a shot.

I was able to make it larger and change some settings. But you will want to zoom in using your browser. Hold Ctrl and use your scroll wheel to zoom in and out.
