đź‘Ť Feeder is always going to be in a GT playlist, in my book. It's the only good music they ever really have, so BRING ON THE FEEDER.

By the way, Black Betty's an awesome song, so đź‘Ť to 3-wheel-drive!!

I woudl have to go for rock

I'm an open person when it comes to music but these are a hint of what I like.

-Van Halen - Panama*
-Garbage - Paranoid*
-Foo Fighters - Hero*
-Mehtods of Mayhem - Crash*
-The Cult - She Sels Sanctuary*

* = songs from previous GTs

That's all I can think of for now.

I want the version of "Moon over the Castle" shown in the TGS video today to be the opening theme. And if it has to be done by a western group, have Joe Satriani, Steve Vai or Dream Theater do their version. Especially Dream Theater. Jordan Rudess and John Petrucci can both tear up an orchestral soundtrack, and Jordan is feeling creative lately after getting an $8000 Korg Oasys monster synth.

Anyone remember Grand Theft Auto: London? Well on that game you could remove the disk and put in a music CD and it would play the songs from the CD on different radio channels. If GT5 could do that, that would be cool because everyone has different music tastes.

I was actually thinking of what music might be included in GT5 and looking back at past titles, I reckon music from The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks etc. maybe included with some music remixed by Fatboy Slim like there has been in a few of the past titles.

These are just some of my ideas.

60GB PS3 version is £400-425

Hmmm....

well for me....

Moon Over The Castle (Orchestral) has to be in there.

A small song list...

Bat Out Of Hell - Meatloaf
Bring Me To Life - Evanescence
Humans Being - Van Halen
Dare - Stan Bush
He's A Pirate - Hans Zimmer (from the Pirates of The Caribbean Soundtrack, good to have a one on one duel with...and I know I know, there'd never be any movie soundtracks)
We're Gonna Win - Bryan Adams
Highway to Hell - AC/DC
Blurry - Puddle of Mudd (was also in the Ace Combat 5 Soundtrack)
Higher - Creed
I've Been Everywhere, Man - Johnny Cash (just for a laugh)
Jon Bon Jovi - Blaze of Glory
Two Seater - Bowling for Soup
Summer of 69 - Bryan Adams
Here I Go Again - Whitesnake

TENCHY
In da club-50 cent
on my tounge-ludacris
Drop it like it's hot-snoop dog

If Polyphony Digital was to put that crap in Gran Turismo 5/Vision, no-one would buy it ;)

nothing specific, but, throw some rock and punk in, i was VERY upset with the gt4 playlist songs, i only like 5 of them
they need to consider other people besides just
classical, and elegant people,
thats my thought

are you serious? dude the classical was sick. throwdown an ill drift run to canon, the replay is amazing. classical was some of the best music in the game.

but anyways. i want some hardcore. not many will agree, but id be so pumped all the time if they had some sick hardcore on the soundtrack.

More trance and rock music, and more classical music(you know, having relaxing music when you're cruising at high speed
and one more thing, having the trance version of the James Bond Theme by Paul Oakenfield(wouldn't it be nice to play that song when your tearing up the roads in an Aston Martin DB9)lol:)

Yes, the "light" classical is good for high-speed cruising, but that is nowhere to be found in GT. I want more classical music with bite to it...stuff you can race to, not cruise to. How about some stuff from Escaflowne, like Dance of Curse  ...can't believe I haven't tried racing to that song yet...

I'd like some music from the Gone Jackals (their music was used for Full Throttle). Specifically Legacy and a remix of Black is White.

For many, the loud grumble from an engine is enough to amuse them.
But if we are talking about sound with instrumental value; Techno, Trance, Trip-Hop - all these would be fine as they definately get your heart racing given the environment you're in.
Just watch the highly-acclaimed 'Mischief Series' and others - It's about cars and the majority of their music is from 'Vertigo' and it definately fits in when cars and racing comes to mind.

Not sure why I say this, but I would love too see (or hear, I suppose) "Riders on the Storm" included in GT5. I think it would make very good music for cruising along to.

FUEL-MetallicA *dies just thinking of the rush* =D

Polyphony NEEDS to go back to their old PlayStation1 days and make some techno/disco/electronica music again................it just drives you well.........*thinks 'bout those Gran Turismo1 songs* yup.

Wait a minute, somebody said something about putting music from MP3 player into the game, right?

Well GT5 is on PS3, right? And PS3 has a Hard-Drive, right? XBOX managed to make music on your HD available while playing games, so I don't see why SONY shouldn't be able to?!

I think it's a given that any mp3/wav on your HD will be available to choose to add to your playlist in GT5... would this not make sense?!

We have already said that...
