I want them to include stuff that doesn't suck.
How about this - they nearly included all the tracks from all GTs previous - why not actually include ALL the tracks from all GTs previous? And all the cars ... and ALL THE MUSIC from all the GTs previous? I mean, they're doing it in some kind of high quality compressed format (Mp3 / Ogg / etc) and they've got a ton of space. They could put over 250 songs in 1GB of space. And these new blue-ray disks are going to have all kinds of storage space. So why not have about a thousand songs? And downloadable? And be able to put your own on there too? It's going to have a hard drive and network connectivity.
Your own music people's. Come on.
Well, I'd begin with a possibility to use music from the hard drive. [/thread]
Seriously though, as long as they go with the old formula of basic rock flavoured by other genres they'll do fine. Feeder will always be "GT music" for me until the end of my days, it sums up the music in the series quite well.
Are you playing the same version of GT4 I am? Because this copy has Papa Roach, Deepsky, Less than Jake, and Jimmy Eat World on it.funny, I don't hear a DROP of "alt" in the GT4 ST. I toss all the rap crap, but leave the Motown mixes, Daiki Kasho, and the personal theme for the games.
Hey, now, most of that stuff isn't remotely "hair band" music (except maybe "Running Wild"). There's a big difference between hair metal and real metal.Woolie: too much hair band music will only make people over forty buy it, just to headbang to (because by the time GT5 comes out officially, that stuff will be Muzak!) and that isn't an opinion, I believe I really WILL be forty when it's completed to satisfaction![]()
