My music wishlist for GT 5:

Eric B. feat. Rakim- Follow the leader

Evol Intent Remix- Follow the leader, (they are not the same songs)

Kasabian- Club Foot

Lunatic Calm- Leave you far behind

And some of the older NFS series soundtracks, The Humble Brothers are amazing at making racemusic according to my opinion,

The Humble Brothers: Sphere, Black Hole, and Brakestand.

Paul Oakenfold- Ready Steady Go

Astral Projection- Mahadeva

And lots of Goatrance!

Incredible techno tracks from Need For Speed when it was in it's glory days. Most of the techno in GT is trash, we need techno like this.

Queen of Stone Age - No One Knows (Unkle Remix)
I'll second that. I loves my QotSA and I loves my UNKLE; put them together and it's made of awesome. On that note, I'll suggest Restless and Safe In Mind (Please Get This Gun From Out Of My Face) as they're UNKLE songs with Josh Homme on lyrical duties, but neither are really great for driving (better for dancing, really).

Or maybe we could do away with techno all together?💡 Listening to stagnant repetitive music wile performing the stagnant repetitive task of negotiating menus is annoying. If Need For Speed did anything right it was the music in later games, like Black Betty- Spiderbait, Joker and the Thief- Wolfmother, and many many more songs. Pretty much anything PS2 era for NFS is the kind of music I like in racing games. Hot Pursuit 2 had some of the best music and fun racing in a game I can remember, one of NFS's greatest games possibly?

Edit: And this song from HPSII

How about these ENTIRE albums:

Smashing Pumpkins - Gish
Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
Slayer - Reign In Blood
Descendents - Milo Goes to College
Ben Folds Five - s/t
Ben Folds Five - Whatever and Ever, Amen
Converge - Petitioning the Empty Sky
Converge - When Forever Comes Crashing
Black Flag - Nervous Breakdown EP
Black Flag - Damaged
Infest - Discography
Reflection Eternal (Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek) - Train of Thought (AKA Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek - Reflection Eternal)
Aesop Rock - Bazooka Tooth
Aesop Rock - Float
Rage Against the Machine - Evil Empire
Rage Against the Machine - s/t

That's a nice song, reminds me of the type of songs that were in GT3 and GT1. I haven't played a Need For Speed game since High Stakes. It seems after they made high stakes they started making a NFS game every 6 months and I couldn't keep up. Now of course the series is absolute crap.

As for techno being annoying in the menus, I think it would be alot better then the Elevator Music that plays in the menu of GT5P.

Gran Turismo 1 had alot of techno music in it's menus and it was great.

I would rather have techno music like this, that is upbeat and gets you hyped up while going through the menus, rather then the elevator music that's invaded GT.
