GT5 Music Wishlist

Because so many of us are long time GT enthusiasts, I think we all associate the GT soundtracks of the past with racing therefore we love listening to them. So, I think it'd be awesome to have a collage of all the best songs from previous GTs (eg. Sweet 16, Panama).:)

If they could give us the ability to play the songs that are on our hard drive (like grand theft auto on the first xbox), that would be nice

Umm, you already can.💡

One of the very first things I do with a new GT game is go to the options and switch off the in-race music. A tuned engine is all you need to hear.

Yeah no kidding. Except this is a music wishlist and most people leave music on while watching replays.

GT1 and GT2 had more industrial and alternative rock which I really liked. GT3moved away from that, and every game since has been very poppy and mainstream. I really wish they would go back to an edgier soundtrack, but it will probably never happen. I'll be using my own custom songs if the game allows it.

Yeah, GTs 1 and 2 were pretty hardcore and it was awesome, while in GT5P I recognized one song from a commercial advertisement. Frankly, I want the coundtracks from the previous Gran Turismos in.

Which is essentially the same as importing our own music, as that's what I listen to regardless...

Fusion FM from GTA4 is hands down my favorite driving music from a video game. Gotta love Roy Ayers. Driving games need more funk like that.

i dont want any music for in game, personally i hate it and takes me away from the game! I even turn off the menu music on mostly all games cause all the track listings suck!

Though there was 1 gt5 that had 2 good tracks on it but that's it, I'm sure it will have custom music play-lists and many many games these days have that!

They'll surely give us the ability to choose our own music from the HD, but they'll also surely have an in-game soundtrack. And in that soundtrack will most likely be Dolami by SebastiAn, from GT5P (used in a lot of the trailers). I'd just like a lot more by that guy. He's amazing.

Aerodynamik from Kraftwerk please (rules in the WipEout HD soundtrack). ;)
Never heard Aerodynamic from Daft Punk, will do asap.

And yes to more Feeder, Feeder needs to be in GT.

no one will agree on music, i for one either want trance, chilloutmusic, or none at all, thats why im sure they'll make it customizable with the HD

Yes. Allow us to make custom playlists from music stored in our hard drives. I don't know how the permissions to use songs in a video game go, but wouldn't PD be saving money if they didn't have to pay anyone to use their music?

It's most likely that we'll be allowed to make custom soundtracks... but still, here's a few of mine. If not included in the game, they're going in anyway! :)

And I love some live versions, as well ;)

Chill music in the menus (like in GT5P or GT4) and the sound of a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 during the races.:D But seriously I don't worry about race music because I always turn it off and GT5 will be no different.

I personally have never heard of any real race car driver that listens to music while driving. Pd should just be concentrating on realistic engine and ambient sound, if music is what you want then use your mp3 or ipod. use the blueray's extra storage space for something that actually has to do with racing, not a bunch of music.

i want the complete soundtrack of GT1, some more tracks of "Feeder" and "Ash" and maybe some tracks from NFS4: High Stakes.

Definetly a lot of rock/hard rock for my custom soundtracks. Although i love the sound of the engines and such, music just enhances the experience and pumps me up.

I need to start making a list!
