Indeed, PD didn't tease us, those pictures were posted by someone that was lucky enough to be able to tour the PD studios (the people that setup the Downshift 2008) and posted them on their own blog, not SCEJ or official PD released pictures.

oh, ok... but either way, ky has hinted at another update coming soon... better live up to his word. and i would like to meet the people lucky enought to tour the pd studios...

Throw the updates down the drain thats my opinion, I think GT5P should be left as it is atm and leave everything else for the full game that way it will excite me more every car counts ;), im tired of this wait too its comming to about 1.5 years since the original Gt5P launched in japan and still no news in the future this is certinaly going to kill of sales for games like GT6 by the time people will expect alot of communication and Polyphony is just not up to it.

Last night it was alive - for 4 straight races a full field of 16 on-line competitors at Expert 650 HSR , AWESOME !!!!!

and to add to it,there was relatively clean racing going on,a few @#$%^&* out there, but overall a good turnout.

Do you remember where the lap times roughly were?

I was running Tuned Lotus 111R and F430 and M3 Beamer - clicking off high 1:09.xxx to 1:15.xxx. ( car pending times)
With 16 cars in the field some laps slowed you down trying to get around them.

Bugger, my Corvette was around the 1'11 to 1'12 mark IIRC, on S3 tyres of course.

It's a combination of things for me. For one, you can only do the same thing over and over again before it gets old. Another thing that really gets to me is knowing what I SHOULD be playing. The full game with all the tracks and cars, the car mods, the endurance races and everything that goes along with it. It really makes what I have now feel empty and bland.

GT5:P served its purpose but they either released it too soon or they are taking far too long to finish the game. GT5 already feels "old" to me and it hasn't even come out yet....

I've spent the last 9 1/2 months in jail and other than thinking about my family, GT5P was on my mind alot as I only got to enjoy it for about a month or so before I headed off to the "big house". After the hudge update downloaded and I got to drive my Amuse again it was like I bought the game all over again...I LOVE THIS GAME!! GT5 the full game will be off the charts to be sure. Are there any events or tourny's in the near future? I wana race. Anything I've missed? :)

I did not play GT5P in long time, I just pick it up one day only to find out i need to fix my G25! lol.. so yeah i never fix my wheel, i never really play the game recently.. so its dead now for me. I might play again once my new wheel arrives.. But i wont guarantee I'll be hooked on it again.

Of course it's dying off. But it is by no means dead. Some people will eat pizza til it doesn't taste like pizza anymore.

The PAL side, of the game is going strong!👍 Can not say the same for the NTSC side though. It seem more hit or miss lately.

I don't really think GT5P is dying off. Not for me anyway. If you're not enjoying the game, run some time trials. They always improve your skills and sometimes gets you a nice place on the leaderboard. :)

Or, go online. Plenty of us GTP guys that always give a good, clean race.

I agree. I enter plenty of TT comps and just run random TT's to keep me interested. I also race online against GTP drivers. Both of these are great fun. If you're bored go to the GTP race events forum and compete in "Enhance Your Skills", it's a really competitive comp. Or get a GTP_tag and have a go at the WRS, that's also very competitive.

because of all the creativity in the different Forums GT5P is alive and kicking and I think an applaus should be given to the several Forums and its Members for keeping a "demo" so interesting for such an incredible long time!

Thanks to all! 👍

 and see you on track :D

Dying off?. Could of fooled me. Last night there were 24 racers split into three groups of eight running the Audi TT(what a dog :yuck: )at 600PP DRC during Moose's Tuners Pit Comp.

There are plenty of racers to be found, you just need to know where to look for them.
