Did anyone watch GT5 e3 special with sim racing tonight? The guy mentioned about some cars that have to be still introduced to the series. My guess Porsche will make it in this time, as well have full cockpit view. Unless they talk about diffrent sports cars as the Kosinsagggagggg or the Gumpert, or other super sports cars.
I'd rather see more classic/older cars make the premium cut instead of the same boring supercars every other racing game has anyways. In fact, I think they've shown us too many supercars already - come on PD where's my Honda City Turbo II?Hm, are some of you scared that the premium car list could lack some supercars?
I find supercars aren't as fun as "ordinary" cars in a racing game.
Agreed.👍
I really like the slow car events more
I hate to race with an 900hp car trough an city course...
Agreed.
Imagine the online races in which we will now be able to the decide our own rules. For example, a VW Golf GTi cup would be a blast, because everyone can drive these relatively low powered FWD cars. Just look at tje Jetta TDi cup in iRacing. Those are some very close races, simply because they're easy to handle and not very powerful. 👍
Hm, are some of you scared that the premium car list could lack some supercars?
I checked the car roster from FM3 and NFS:Shift (+DLC) yesterday and have to admit that both are awesome (for supercar lovers like me).
Ok, now lets take a look at all comfirmed premium cars in GT5:
I hope you get what I mean. We have dozens of muscle cars, race cars and japanese (Skylines!!!!!) cars, but very few cars like the Enzo. Right now I even doubt that we will get cars like the Zonda F/R/Cinque, Koenigsegg ccgt, classic sportcars like the Ferrari 330p4
I really hope that some are going to be added, but right now Im really pessimistic...
The graphics are not the best, but that still looked like so much fun great video! Makes me want GT5 so much more!
I was thinking the same thing, a slower tight race grid will be alot of fun, much different experience from a high speed supercar race. Gameplay/fun can easily outweigh graphics. Its cool GT5 has both qualities.
Ferrari will easily have the most premium cars in GT5 other than the manufacturers in Japan.
And rightly so if that's what happens.
Shall I name a few? (from the top)
NSX
DB9
R8
M3
Veyron
Viper
458 Italia
599
Enzo
F40
F430
GT
Gallardo
Murcielago
GranTurismo S
F1
etc....
OK, I too, am a supercar lover, and I think that list is great! What are you talking about?

This is not a wishlist.I'd love to see the BMW E36 BMW.they have an E30,E46,E90.why not an E36.the 2 door or 4 door.I have a 4 door
Yeah, its not bad, but your exagrating it a bit... M3 a supercar? R8 a supercar? NSX a supercar?
Im just a bit pessimistic, for example... I`m a huge fan of the Pagani Zonda and GT4 only had the C12 and C12s IIRC, right?
Since GT4 several new models have appeared, like the Zonda F or the Zonda R.
We only have 170-200 premium cars, right? And I think that all those NASCARS are counted as different models, like those JGTC cars (PD has done similar things in all GT games before). So there isn`t that much room left in the premium car list for some supercars.
Its not only supercars, Im also a big fan of classic cars, especially old Ferrari or Mercedes (W125! How could they not include this car in GT4 ) race cars... We haven`t seen one of that kind
Yeah, I could be wrong and even if it turns out like that, GT5 will be an awesome game... But Im sure that im not the only one who would love to drive those cars most people can`t even dream of around the Ring
Yeah I think there are 3 possibilities:
1: Ferrari is premium -> they will have full damage (unlikely)
2: Ferrari is standard ->
2.1: Standard cars have cockpit view (as Ferrari had cockpit view in pologue)
2.2: Prologue cars will be downgraded (very unlikely)
I noticed that already, so now the question is how on earth did they manage to get full damage with those brands?About this, I found a video of a Lamborghini getting FULLY damaged. So I hope it's the same for all premium cars.
