I think it's based on the real Le Mans starting time, which is 3pm.

Can't remember now and don't have the game on to check, but around 900k I think.

Check about 10 posts above yours!

Well wise-ass, I'm not going to read every post and the first post wasn't updated... So stop whining.

Is there any other way to unlock the Nurburgring 24h configuration other than the AMG challenge? I cannot get gold on the last test...2 seconds off routinely. So frustrating.

I can't stand b-spec!!! I just want to win the Zonda already so I can move on with my life!!

It's not so bad once you get used to it. Sure its got nothing on A spec and it does drag on a bit, but you'll get used to it. The marginally better prizes start to make up for it eventually, and it's worth getting on with, although I wouldn't recommend doing it too much over A spec, unless you have a lot of time and patience.

The last 3 times i've played bspec they've been short races (10 laps or so), and i fall asleep each time, like 2 laps in. Im so bored of watching Bob lol.

I'm level 35 B Spec and I got the Red Bull X1 as a gift for getting to level 35. I use the car for everything now and it just owns every race there is by a long shot. I'm 10 hrs now into the 24hr Lemans race with it. It's lapped the others so many times.

Level 23 on the Aspec side. Owned every race I've entered with the car as well.

I see your winning personality everywhere... Do you ever say anything pleasant? Probably not, i think someone should tell your mother you have a potty mouth... You should really knock off the tough guy routine, because it's a complete fail when it comes from you, and you probably don't want to push me to show everyone how much of a tough guy fail you are... just saying... :sly:

Le Mans 24h: Audi R8 Race Car (Audi PlayStation Team ORECA) '05 (S)

You get 4,593,700 XP.

Good info, thanks for that. Now we only have to do roughly 6 Le Mans Enduros to reach level 40 :ill: *crosses fingers for LOTS XP Points from online racing)

So no one(at least no one here) has yet completed the 24h nurburgring in a-spec? Or even got to lvl 40? Im somehow amazed even though i know how much of a grind it is after 25.. But still i wouldve thought theres some mad fanatic who has had lvl 40 in the first week of the release but i guess not then :P

Hi all I have just completed LM 24h in b-spec and received my gt-one which is nice. sorry if someone had already mentioned this but sadly the exp obtained frm LM wasn't even enuff to level up from 35 to 36 (about 90%). Someone in the other thread found lvl up exp system base on a factor of 1.28 (28% more exp required for advance into next lvl), so i worked out that I need to do LM 24h for 9 times in order to unlock nur 24h. OMG What's the point?? BTW when you try to select nur 24hr it will say "you can not..... until you are lvl 40 or HIGHER", maybe there is lvl 40+ I guess

On Grand Tour, you get all 5 locations if you Gold them all. I'll list them in the morning as I'm going to sleep (3.30AM here!!).

first post!!!

i've read this entire thread, and my god you guys are some dedicated gamers. i thought i was in need of help cuz i'm on level 24 in just over a week of owning the game, but you guys are intense. congrats to you, gentlemen.

so from what i've gathered, the ferrari f1 cars are only eligable in the formula championship and b spec? that sucks. good thing i read that before i was successful in my quest for $10 mill only to discover all that hard work was for nothing.

second, can you keep winning prize cars and selling them over and over again? :dunce:

juuuuuust kidding. that question has been asked at least once every page in this thread and it's getting quite annoying. but the work you guys have done is amazing, keep it up!! 👍

hey we got a life besides GT5, we (at least i cant play GT5 all day) must go to work so we can pay the elec. bill....

im on level 36 a-spec, relax sooner or later someone will do it, but we cant play 24/7

This, lol. If some only knew the amount of time invested just to be in the level 30's already since the game has come out. That alone is pretty darn crazy. I'm one hour from level 36 B Spec with it's races twice as long over A Spec. Then on the A Spec side, I'm level 23. So my PS3 has pretty much not shut off all week....srs.

btw, is the formula gt different than the ferrari f1 cars?

Yes it is. I don't think PD can have actual Formula 1 cars in a race series as it would be a Grand Prix and I don't think they have the license to do that. So don't waste your money on the Ferrari F1's, wait for the FGT to appear in the used car lot.

Welcome to the boards ZBlacktt! Not too many of us Portland-ers 👍

Well, you have to look at the timeframe. With races literally taking 24 hours and needing to do a 24hr race 6+ times to get from 35 to 40, it becomes not about how hardcore you are but that it's simply impossible to get to 40 already even if you somehow managed to play 24/7 in A-Spec, only people I can think of who could be 40 by now are those who got a copy of GT5 before release date.

The race was really awesome though, was a very nice gaming moment when it got dark! The rain wasn't too bad either :)

Do you happen to recall how many laps AI managed to do? In b-spec they will do about 360 laps, while my Bobs are doing around 490 laps in X1. So it will take Bob about 17,6 hours to do 360 laps. If the ratio is about the same in a-spec, it would mean that one would have to drive only about 18 hours to win the event, instead of having to drive full 24 hours.

So there are three versions of the X1, they are all the same except for paint right?

This is a question that really needs to be answered by someone who has "Golded" the X1 Challenge and has all 3 to compare but I believe this is the case. I have 2 of the 3 variations 👍 and they are identical in performance however, I saw something which listed the Stealth (Carbon Fibre) X1 you recieve for "Golding" the X1 Challenge as the "Red Bull X1 Prototype". So this implies that it is indeed "different" from the 2 I have already but as I have not had the time to try and improve on all Silvers since I did it last weekend I cannot confirm this... Cheers. :)

Hi, I'm new to this site, but I've just golded the X1 event. The Red Bull X1 Prototype (Stealth Carbon Fibre) has the same specs as the Red Bull X1 and Red Bull X1 Sebastian Vettel awarded for Silver and Bronze respectively.

Yeah i know it really becomes a chore after around 25+ since im myself at lvl 30 a-spec and lvl 22 at b-spec and i got the game on 3rd of december and have been playing like crazy.. But those 35lvl+ exp amounts really suck so no wonder no one is lvl 40 already.. Well at least the races seem to be easy to beat so you dont have to keep playing 110% all the time ^^

Yesterday o was close to make lat Gold on Nurburgring but i failed. There was to late at night so i went so sleep and today i am going back there to achieve my gold :) And then i will answer your question.

I'm glad that someone finally went and drive 24 hour race, my first would be tomorrow after i achieve that last gold :)

I'm intend to use one of X1 in 24 races, why? Because you don't have to race all that time. You just sit and drive for like 3 to 4 hours and park park your car somewhere, but do not pause the game. Just live it :) Time will pass, other cars will finally after like 3 hours overtake you and then you can simply start build your lap advantage all over again. And there should be like 7 hours on clock but you drive only 3 or 4 :) Is this a wrong method ??
