The WALMART at 1200 Marketplace Drive, Rochester NY had the demo up and running.

I was much more impressed by the graphics on this demo then I was at the nearby Bestbuy. This time it was running on a Sony Bravia and while the brightness and contrast were still off, it still looked much better. The tv is at a horrible angle, however, almost right above your head, so it kills your neck to play it for any length of time.

I managed to get one go around in with the Corvette Stingray on the Rome circuit. Physics were great! Graphics were better!

paskowitz-> NOW you're feeling the PAIN now! lulz

^ I'm currently dealing the same ordeal on my Vehicle Wish List, so I feel your dilemma of not catching up. :sly:

You can add This Best Buy to the list

-21601 Victory Blvd Canoga Park, CA 91303 Google Map

I'm sure that the Gamestop across the street in the Topanga Mall

6600 Topanga Canyon Blvd, Canoga Park, CA Google Map

also has it installed as well as the other Northridge Best Buy

19350 #b Nordhoff Way Northridge, CA 91324 Google Map

since it's fairly close and also cause the fry's nearby also has it. Looks like my area is done

Best Buy in Tuscaloosa AL (Store 1540)
1800 Mcfarland Blvd E
Tuscaloosa, AL 35404

GoogleMaps

I'll go back tomorrow and play some more, and snap a pic. The guy in the video game section said I was the first person he had seen playing it. Today was the first time he had seen it.

Target in Columbia, MD
6111 Dobbin Rd
Columbia, MD 21045
(410) 290-1123

A very nice suprise I had  ,used the Enzo on the Ring and boy was in for a WILD ride!, then i downgraded to a less "violent" car ... a white LP540 and the kicked some ass (4 wheel drive is a blessing) before the 2 minute timer stopped me... (cars had damage)

I had to force myself off the demo after 15 minutes cuz my dad had to leave :(

74 N.Adams Road Rochester Hills, MI. Gamestop. You can go ahead and take this off the list because it is most certianly NOT there. Even if it was, which its not, you wouldn't be able to play it anyway because every Gamestop I've been in, including that one, has all their comtrollers disabled.

GameMania Eindhoven, the Netherlands. I will upload a picture and store details later today. 👍

Edit>
As promised more info:

Game Mania Eindhoven
Frederiklaan 108
5616 NK Eindhoven
Nederland
+31 (0)40 293 23 34

If I'm not mistaken, this is the first reported GT5 playable demo in north-west Europe. (not including game events) :)

I went back today and the controllers were not working, so I couldn't play it. 👎 I should have stayed longer last night...

"GT5 Demo 2010" is on there, but I don't own a camera/cell so go ahead and put "unconfirmed" label on there...

-5181 South State Street, Murray, UT. Best Buy. (unconfirmed)

I tried this location earlier today and there was no sign of a GT5 demo. What a let down.

paskowitz-> I understand, get well first before tackling any of this. Your illness might gets worse due to stress! :scared:

BT-> Unfortunately (for paskowitz), I happen to stumble another demo location:

Best Buy Summerlin
10950 W Charleston Blvd
Las Vegas, NV 89135
Map

^ Unfortunately this time, I don't have pics to show proof. These Best Buy people are on me while I was playing, so I wasn't able to get a clear phone-shot. :indiff:

-> But since I've contributed the past two locations in the past (Gamestop in Henderson & Fry's Electronics on the Strip). I hope my discovery of this one is valid. :)

I was pre-ordering GT5 today, and found a new location for a kiosk demo.

Its at the Gamestop at:

2262 W International Blvd
Daytona Beach, FL

I would show video or photos, but I don't know how to upload stuff from my phone to the web yet, and I'm afraid it might raise the bill up for my mom. But trust me, it's at that Gamestop.

Gamestop in Heron Bay area.

6067 CORAL RIDGE DRIVE
CORAL SPRINGS, FL 33076

It seems to be an older demo perhaps. No tire tracks but it does have damage. Its on the PS3 system with many other demos so you may have to quit the other game & choose it. It allows 2 minutes of play. No one else in store when I went so I played for about 30 minutes.

Heres a pic of my Lambo I smashed up.

ps - I went to the Best Buy in Boca Raton & they didn't have the demo. It's on the list as unconfirmed.

I went to the mall today, and stopped by the GameStop while the girlfriend shopped. They had the GT5 demo up, with working controllers.

This kid walked up and said "Is this the game with NASCAR in it?" I told him yes, Jeff Gordon's car is in this demo. He said "Awesome, I love NASCAR!" asked if he could play, and then he never gave it up. It makes me feel like an idiot because I was getting mad at him for not sharing it back, haha.

Only demos listed for Alabama?

I gave the Best Buy demo TK42OnE mentioned a try today. Played it for half an hour, fooling around with all the cars (the only one I didn't try was the Lambo). The TV was still set up quite poorly, but everything else seemed fine. Hoping they polish up the damage for the final game, though.

Has anyone else who has played the demo noticed a difference in car handling? To me it seems as though the cars are pivoting from a center point. I noticed this in a few of the demos from several months back, but put it off to being early builds, and/or just the videos themselves not being an accurate representation of how the car was handling in the game.

Playing yesterday at a local BestBuy, reiterated my initial thought. I noticed it particularly on the Toscana course. The car didn't seem to have the same roll/lean as in GT5P (or GT4 for that matter), but instead swiveled left and right to a degree. I'm having a difficult time articulating what my eyes saw and my hands felt via the DSC.

Thoughts?

It's definitely different than GT5P.

I don't know if I'd describe it exactly as you have, but its tough to get an exact feel for the game using the crappy controllers available at the Best Buy stands.

But, even with those sub-par controllers, I could tell that the physics were an improvement.... in my opinion at least.

This is the one from Greendale, WI's Best Buy(the location is already listed but as unconfirmed).

Of course they have the new Madden game there plugged into a 52in tv, a game that comes out EVERY YEAR, but this, a game that we've been waiting for for damn near a decade gets this little POS tv with such little volume you can't even time your shifts right.
