People should stop assuming there is 'premium' and 'standard' tracks. They're all tracks, and none of them got less love than the rest

Although...thinking about it Grindelwald does bare a resemblance to Eiger. I always thought it was purely a fictitious track. Hm....

This looks like snow to me - so it's not only on rally circuits, unless Eiger becomes a rally circuit (like Special Conditions, in GT4.)
EDIT: Eiger Nordwand is set in the mountain pass of Kleine Scheidegg; Grindelwald is a touch over four miles away... Google it

May be it will be but i still say these shots show the short version, looking back from the run up to last corner across the valley to the start/finish with the jump down to the first U bend right obscured by the trees.

I completely agree, I think that's that exact U bend...
But when you look at the back of the picture, in the left side, you see a left turn, that is probably a sign of a long track. In GT5P, the map of Eiger shows a curb with signs of more track going on, on the beggining of the downhill section, immediatly after the jump. Going straight there is probably the long version of the track, with the left turn we can see in this pic.
And, just as AgentGT, I will gladly accept being proven wrong.

I hope this just isn't the start of another premium - standard debate, like cockpits,.
No, it only makes sense. No reason to have dynamic weather in short races. I hope I don't have to explain why.
It's easy to assume that if a track has weather during an endurance race it will have it during a normal race, just not dynamic.

Notice the BMW jump around the 0:20 mark. It could go left through a cemented road, or right. The pictures show a left turn, maybe it's a sign that there's more to the track...

Why can't it start to rain on lap 2 of a 3 lap race.....or stop raining 3/4 of lap 1 of a 5 lap race.?
I absolutely agree with you, because Sunday Cup and such will no longer be boring, and you will be able to win with a worse car if you get your strategy right. Remember, most of GT races are about 2-10 laps, no more.

At first i did not like this car because it looks like a cat fish. But after seeing this type of set up and colorway, I fell in love with it.Tp bad they canned the production of this car. Kinda sad that we might not see Honda HSV and Lexus LFA but X1 will do for now.
