GT5 uses a world map like GT4. So, which region will most interest you?

If GT5 uses the world map in GT4, which region will have the most cars that you like?

  • America, baby! Vettes, Stangs, Vipers, pure American bad-ass muscle machines!

  • Europe, of course! We flaunt the finest cars, from Ferrari to Mercedes-Benz to BMW.

I voted for Europe. For a Italian car lover (Ferrari <3<3<3<3<3, Lamborghini <3<3<3, Pagani <3<3<3) it's a must to vote.
but actually there should be a fifth poll saying:
"I don't care about countries, I have no favorite, I just want the cars I want and I need."

I don't know what to choose! Japan I guess? The NSX-R / S2000 at the Nurburgring is still one of the best experience I had in GT4. Even though I would like to drive a ZR1, Enzo, or Zonda. I don't know!
I like them all, and probably spent most of the time in MOST of them..Even the Cappuccino! Well the tuned one. Hope the Tuner Vally rumor with bunch of exterior/engine parts is true.

I voted America, homeland loyalty + the Ford GT. But I know that some of my most desired cars are gonna come from Europe :P (Especially with Ferrari and Lambo)

Unless Porsche somehow makes it into the game, Japan narrowly beats out Europe for me. I love multiple Supras, Skylines, Imprezas, Legacys, and Evos. That adds up to a *very* narrow edge over the Audis, Ferraris, Lambos, and Astons I plan on using the most often. It's so close that yesterday or tomorrow I might have voted for Europe.

Well TBH the best value car in GT4 was that HPA tuned Golf.

For $40k (about $10k more than a STi/Evo/Mustang/whatever) you have a light, nimble AWD car with decent handling and 600 horsepower.

That's right, 600hp.

Sure the power curve was a bit funny, due to the turbocharger being propelled not by exhaust gasses, but a light switch, but hey if you kept the thing spinning it would dust the competition so hard they'd combust and turn into an orange haze that would cover most of Brisbane and Eastern Australia for several days.

It didn't car if you were in an american car, or a european car, or a japanese car, mainly because it couldn't tell due to the fact that they couldn't get close enough to it.

Basically, you could write "YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE" on the front, and "YOU'RE LOSING" on the back, and most of the time you'd be right.

Anything that ends with the sound 'e' in Europe:sly:
Bugatti
Maserati
Ferrari
Lamborghini
Pagani
Audi
Not too sure about Mini

Just check the list you will understand.;)

lol, I know, I made the thread. I even voted for Europe. I really cannot wait to test out some Lamborghini's and Ferrari's. The F430 and F40 were great, but I need more. A la F50, TestaRossa, 458 Italia, etc.

They're all good regions but with manufacturers such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, TVR, Bugatti, Aston Martin, Porsche, Alfa Romeo, Bentley, Koenigsegg, McLaren, Lotus, BMW, Audi, Maserati, Jaguar, Kleeman, Mercedes Benz & Wiesmann among others it can only be Europe for me.

They're just off the top of my head but I'm probably missing quite a few of interest.

I hope they won't use the old world map style menu though.

Why's that?

I mean, yeah, it's not the quickest or most practical layout. But IMO it's more engrossing than, say, Forza's menus which are so dull.

I chose Japan because I feel they have the best new cars to choose from. If I am racing older cars then it would be America and Austraila cause they made the best V8's in my opinion.

Okay.. I didn't vote. but for a good reason, See I don't like using European cars for GT mode Because I've found from experience the Japanese cars have driven me to success most of the time. But that said (and this being my reason for not voting) I like to drive all cars from every regeon and I know for sure I'll be spending most of my Cr on Aussie and Japanese cars. but once again, I'll drive and buy cars from all over the place. Just when it comes to GT mode, Japanese and Aussie will be my pick.

I didn't vote either, just to many cars from each region i like! I just like all types of race cars.

P.S. Heath_1 please change your avatar, it's going to make me go blind!!:sly:
