GT5 uses a world map like GT4. So, which region will most interest you?

If GT5 uses the world map in GT4, which region will have the most cars that you like?

Whatever region which has events for me to compete in will be my main interest!... so, pretty much all of them. In GT3 and 4 I didn't really favour one region and I don't see myself doing so in GT5.

My order of preference would be:
Europe - Such a variety of cars and so many exotics and hot hatches. Lemans cars!
Japan - Some absolute rockets. Evo/skyline family are always a joy to drive and I love driving tuning house cars, JGTC would be what I look forward to most from Japan.
US - Not that interested in US cars. ZR1, Callaway C12, Saleen's would be what I'd be looking forward to driving. Oh, and the SSC Ultimate Aero.
Australia - I must be one of the only Aussies on here who hates Aussie cars. Can't think of anything I want to drive.

Dude; I want to make the Challenger SRT D1 drift car :D (probably would ditch the chrome-paint though) .. Hell; i'd do all three D1 cars. :D

I voted for Europe...especially w/the addition of Ferrari in GT5:P...'surprise' us with any other top name European manufacturers, and I'm sure even more people will vote for "Europe"..even more of us 'bloody Americans'...:-)

I voted for America because its the only time I'll drive an American car. I been buying Nissan and Mazda and Toyota IRL for some years now, but still wish the American cars were better built like those are. The Colbalt SS could easily handle the euro and Japanese competition with its great power train. The Vette Z06 or CTS-V could handle the Skylines/evos, while the almighty ZR1 can holds its own among the most expensive exotics, even while having a steering while that is in many other GM cars. The American cars are not special, but can be fast.

Ohh...come on you can't be serious....:odd:

So your saying your not interested in taking this Lion for a spin round the Nurburging?:odd:
I seriously hope that PD will include this car and 'The Mountain' (Mount Panarama) in GT5!:mischievous:👍

Lets see, Audi R8, Lamborghini Diablo, Ferrari F40, Bugatti Veyron, and Mercedes 190E 2.5. All European.
Not forgetting some other cars from Lotus and a handful of others I'm really looking forward to seeing, so it'll be my first port of call.

I'm a pretty big fan of the Ford GT so the USA would be my next stop, if they have race versions of the Saleen and some Panoz road cars then that might tip the scales...

Not sure about Japan, I'm eager to see what Mitsubishi and Subaru have to offer but if I see more than 10 Skylines I'm going back to Europe!

Every region will rock for me. Japan will be a blast, since I love Evos and Imprezas (can't get the rally out of a rally freak). Also European Fords are the cars I drool to (especially the ones "touched" by the M-Sport ;)). Would be myself I hadn't try some V8 American Muscle.

There will be a time to eat from every dish :D

Nothing beats the Viper, though the Corvette comes close.

Of course, I'll visit the other countries too. No garage is complete without the R34 or an M3.

As much as I love European cars, I'm really excited about getting all the modern American muscles. Cadillac CTS-V, Corvette ZR1(shocker), Mustang to drift with, etc. :D

Japan. The cars there are so much better value.

In GT4 i hated how the BMWs, Audis, Mercedes, Astons, Jags, Lotus etc. were all 50k+ for their basic models.

I can buy an Evo VII/VIII for 30k, add a bit of tuning it beats anything Europe can throw at it for the same money.

The price of cars ingame influences my choices strongly. In GT4 i never bothered with the Zondas or the SLR Mclaren and such. I just bought a Proto Spirra <3 nice and cheap, yet fast too. The GTR is cheap in Prologue and in RL, i'll be buying that for the high end tournaments, competing against Ferraris, Ford GTs, Lambos etc. And for almost half the cost.

America has some good value models, but i really would only consider a Mustang, or maybe a Camaro. Japan still has much more choice in GT, for obvious reasons.

I am probably inclined to buy Japanese cars in real life too. From what i hear they're quite reliable. I'd probably buy a Mazda or Nissan for my first car (I'm only 19 and don't have the cash for a car. At the moment i feel i don't need one. And GT5/PS3/HDTV/G25/Racing seat takes priority lol)

Yeah, I must agree with your views at European cars ,but then again European cars are the way to go because of the style intertwining with the speed... most of the time. Then, take a look at the Lambo, Mercedes, Pagani,Ferrari,etc.. It makes you want to drive it with your G25 or Sixaxis.
Adding to the statement of the American cars you can't forget used Corvettes or new Corvettes they aren't as expensive as you think.

All of them are cool. Japanese cars tend to be a better deal though... maybe Polyphony is doing that intentionally? :D

No thats just a myth don't be silly :dopey:

Maybe if they reduced the price of the European cars a bit i might consider using them. You can get a Lotus Elise for less than the price of a Ford Mustang, but GT sets the Mustang at <30k and the Elise always hovers around 50-60k, when the VX220 is mysteriously 20k cheaper than the elise, but there isn't much between them in real life, if anything the Vauxhall/Opel is slightly cheaper, but not by the amount it is in GT games.

Its the same reason i rarely buy Nissan Skylines, they're always 50k and above, some were above 60k in GT4. But generally the Japanese performance cars are good value. The Evo, Mazda RX7 and Imprezas are some of my favourites in GT games.

But when they set the price for a BMW 3 series at 60k+, its just a little much.

The japanese aren't better valued in real life. Sure they have better reliability, but they aren't luxorious as the european models. I mean if you compare a lancer against an A4 you should... nevermind.

I'm from America, but I voted for the European sections- because I can see a lot of competition there, and of course, the tracks. IMO- better cars, better tracks, better scenery than what we have in America.

Well in real life most European cars come with around €10,000-€20,000 optional extras, Which i neither need nor want in a video game.

I'll race you with a supercharged Ariel Atom Seismica.Well i would try to if i bought one.

Ooooh a challenge. Although it will probably be around 70-80k if its in GT5 :P

All of them bro when it comes down to it, i have a broad taste in cars, enthusiast if you will so ill touch anything from a Subaru 360 to a 69 Camaro to a 02 RX7 and i feel the cockpit view willl really push me to experience all the cars.
