I believe we'll have to wait for the upcoming "power tracks" in calendar (Monza, maybe Motegi or Bathurst), to see new winners and mixed results for this season also. For example, Daniel did great and won at Daytona.

Excatly there are many tracks come that will suit other drivers/cars and like last season mixed results will come.

Also to the guys interested on equal specs, I suggest a move to class 2 which is same BHP as the Lexus aliens cars.

That's why we run 16 races and not 4 or 5. 👍

At Daytona the lexus was absolutely nowhere.

Monza - yes.

Motegi - there are alot of straights, but none of them are very long, it showed last season that it did not favour HSV cars nearly as much as GRV we just was on.

Bathurst - You'd think so, but no. Again, history has shown it to be too driver dependant in the technical part of the track.

Monza: yeah but the race may be monopolised yet again, not by an alien but from a GT-R probably.
Motegi: Aug won there last season, the straights don't make a large difference compared to Monza or Daytona.
Bathurst: the back straight will be trouble but the technical part is an another story.

Everyone in the same car with tuning allowed and with the current groups corresponding to the tyre compounds soft, medium and hard with some penalty ballast variation. Would have to turn tyre wear and fuel depletion off though!

On the contrary, pitstops would have to be prohibited.

The aim was to force people to stay on their allocated tyre, with pitstops that is not possible, thats why tyrewear has to be turned off.

It was only suggested as an experiment to try sometime just to see what would happen as the lap speeds that vary from hard to soft tyres roughly correspond to the current car spec differences. I do prefer tyre wear though, but would roll with a system that encourages even better, more consistent racing.

Maybe for the next season a good idea will be for slow drivers hsv, fast drivers gtr, super fast drivers lexus, all cars same horsepower that means equal top speed on straight for all cars that gives the oportunity to everyone to pass on straight. Then each one can setup his df depends the top speed he want, just an idea..
