There are a few threads already on things you want "fixed", or Epic Whining and Cryin. However, I couldn't see a legitimate bugs collection thread, hence, here it is.

Seeing as how we are a pretty big community and are we're all spendings quite a silly amount of time playing this game, we can keep a record of all the known bugs during our playing experience. Maybe someone influential here or knows how to get in touch with PD can pass these information along so they could be looked at for future updates.

To keep things organised, lets post in the following format (open to suggestions on improvements)

1. stating which country you copy of the game is from.
2. game version
3. bug (as detailed as possible, car, modification, track, or any number of combinations which makes your bug happen.

I'll start, this issue was first (as far as I know) noticed by Reddit user Neidajoda from his post Golf I GTI '76

1. Hong Kong
2. 1.01
3. When Volkswagen Golf I GTi '76 upgraded to Fully Customizable Dog-Clutch Transmission, the H gear shifter (and clutch pedal) on the Logitech G27 steering wheel no longer works. The car is limited to the sequential flap shifter only.

I have found trying to run a room or lobby is basically impossible. My car behaves erratically when someone either joins or leaves the room, just as you are about to race the room freezes, then crashes the entire lobby. Everyone I know has been having the same problem. The makers of this game really need to get their act together & fix it pronto instead of fixing minor things like sound etc or recall the game as it clearly is NOT of merchandisable quality.

1.Japan
2.1.03 with January 16 update
3.License center not show my personal ranking in friend ranking list.
Just after January 16 update,I was finish last 2 S License test,S-4 test my first effective time is sliver, when I owner gold it not update, friend list still show my sliver time.
S-5 test I owner gold but not show in friend list.

I noticed a bug. When I joined a one make lobby, I was put into a random car that was not the one make model featured in the lobby. Everyone else who was on track was also put in a random car but stayed in the pits and did not move. :odd:

There‘s a minor bug I just noticed. Under International A, the “Rainmasters” races: I entered in a Ferrari FXX with “Racing: Heavy Wet” tires equipped and I got a notice prompt saying my tires have been changed to “Racing: Soft” tires. Upon entering the race, I go to Car Settings and it shows that “Racing: Intermediate” tires are equipped and I can equip “Racing: Heavy Wet” tires again and continue with the race. This has been true for all three races. North American disc (15th Anniversary Edition), version 1.03.

I have a lot of bugs when playing career mode...

Sometimes in replay from outside, the cars get awfully miscoloured; with strange spots on them...This is by far the most annoyjing bug, as I love to follow my car from outside in replays...Fortunately it is not every time this happens...

Also in replay from outside, the moves are eratically; especially when more cars are close together. When I`m alone in front, the moves get more smooth. (This could happen in GT5 too, but GT6 a lot worse)

When starting a race, the sound sometimes sounds totally wrong. A restart mostly helps, but not always...

In a race on CD Azur, an AI Fiat Punto suddenly liftet it`s rear end, and driving on the front wheels (!)

In a race on Matterhorn, my Toyota Prius totally lost it`s braking ability at a specific curve. Restarts didn`t help, it did it constantly...

So GT6 is relatively faulty, just as GT5 was. Good thing is that GT6 starts up very quickly...

3. I was in an online lobby with my friend and we started a race with a rolling start. The screen is loading, I feel my controller vibrating and when I am put on the track the auto drive has put me face first into the wall! The auto drive has to back up and it just makes a mess right when the race starts! Really weird bug. This happened consistently on the Twin Ring Motegi circuit track.

Sorry for repeating my "major bug" problem again here, but I would like to ask if any of You has experienced Your car getting strangely miscoloured in a race replay???

Large areas of the car with some "camouflage like" patterns? This happens now and then for me, my black Mercedes 190 evo got some brown areas; my green Jaguar XKR Performance got lightet green patterns; my black Amuse S2000 R `04 got brown areas, and my beautiful ebony Jaguar S Class got brown patterns/araeas... So far... Have no doubt it will happen to other cars too...It`s extremely ugly to look at, and more or less ruins the joy of watching a replay from outside...

Have any of You guys experienced this???

Well I found something very weird 10 minutes ago. Well I bought Nissan GT-R Black Edition long ago, no problems there, then I went to the Nissan dealership to see which cars I haven't bought yet and found that that exact GT-R wasn't marked as already bought (that blue circle), so I went to my garage to check out and there was no such car under Nissan, so then I went to see my Lamborghinis and I saw a 25th Anniversary Countach, and what is the problema here? Well the car has the Blue from the GT-R and is a GT-R with the name of the Countach, I select the car and it turns to a Countach which I never bought, even more strange is that this Countach isn't stock (full weight reduction and full engine tune). So I'm here to report this problem and to know if anyone had the same problema.
I took a picture of it for you guys to see for yourselves.

Wow, now that's wierd... But the reson its got those upgrades is because they come with the 25th anniv cars.

I posted in another thread, and those upgrades are not from the car, this car is the Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversaty '88 which only has 455 hp stock.

The post is in the major thread for bugs and glitches.

Not really a bug, but common fault in driving games like Gran Turismo and Forza games.

When you buy new car and go track, brake bias is 5/5. I don't really know cases in real life brake balance is so bad.
Usually bias it's put quite a lot towards forward bias. So please, Polyphony, change standard bias more like 7/3 or 6/4 for all new cars.

Couple more whinings:
I would like to game keeping my raceview settings even I exit game and load it again. Since GT5 Prologue, GT games has always gone into opens screen with dials - I absolutely hate it. I want my dashboard immediately I hop in car, not seeking right option from "select" button every ****ing time.

Same for all new cars having default traction control of 5, set it off please.

3. After a pit stop, the cars handling is made worse and the transmission shortens, reducing top speed. I was doing NASCAR testing for an endurance race at Daytona. Transmission was set to 205 mph and we're running 759 HP. I was running times of 46.6 solo. After pit stops I can't break 47 seconds solo and the handling is getting some understeer. I'm losing more speed in the turns than before. In addition, my transmission tops out just after 195. I'm hearing my tires squeal like it changed my suspension settings. I think this bug changes your transmission and suspension.

This bug has apparently been around since the game's release. I have just gotten around to getting used to the game (and my new g27) enough to bother hosting a major race. When I'm testing I don't have a need to pit and so I didn't find out about this until now. I only do races that are long enough to require pit stops and so this ruins the game for me.

...well, the thing is, as far I figured out, the brake controller is set to 50/50 as on the real car, but the difference of brake bias is brake disk diameter and calipers that are braking. And the thing you can change in game is set different power to front/rear brake calipers. So the ingame settings are totally legit.

Cheers...
