I hope PD updates Volvo's list a bit.

Hi i am new and would like to know if the BMW's will be updated in the game?

Second thing that I think is missing in Gran Turismo is a Diesel challenge

Since GT has done the odd non practical car for a race and military vehicles, why not a military HumVee or an actual tank in the game?

Polestar is a tuning company. Therefore those Volvo's would not be in the Volvo dealership but the Polestar dealership.

If you want to drive a tank you already can.

Volvo.....

Yes, those models will work. Of course, I was thinking more of the lines of these:

- Volvo 242 Turbo Evolution '83
- Volvo 850 R Sedan '94
- Volvo 850 R Wagon '94
- Volvo V70 R '04
- Volvo S60 R '04
- Volvo C30 R Design Polestar Concept '11
- Volvo C30 R Design Polestar '13

EDIT: Sorry for double posting. I don't know how to undo a double post.

Simple, just move your first comment to your second comment by copying & pasting it. I normally copy & paste to put more than one quote in my comments. 2nd, just delete the text in the first comment and type *deleted*. It doesn't delete the comment, but it lets people know that you got rid of it.

:embarrassed: Thank you soo much! I don't know whi I have never thought of that before! Thank you!!! :D

People can't seem to take anything with a sense of humor anymore. Don't even know why I try anymore

Well I did a joke on the tank car? I wanted to cheer you up from all the negativity you were getting.

Mercedes-Benz T80

The Mercedes-Benz T80 was a vehicle developed and built by Mercedes-Benz, and designed by Ferdinand Porsche. It was intended to break the world land speed record, but never made the attempt, having been over-taken by the outbreak of World War II.

The T80 is currently on display at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt. Many people over the decades have urged Mercedes-Benz to fully restore the T80 and test run it to see if it would have reached 750 km/h (465 mph) which it could have done.

MHV_MB_T80_World_Record_Car_1939.jpg

Production: one-off (1939)

Body style: six-wheel, mid-engined, 1-seater experimental racing car

Engine: 3000 hp 44.5 Litre Daimler-Benz DB 603 V12

Although this power figure sounds impressive, it's not unusual for one-off racing engines of the period, especially those used for short-duration record-breaking with esoteric fuels.

Mercedes-Benz W125 Rekordwagen

MHV_MB_12_Zyl_Record_Car_1938.jpg

Rudolf Caracciola's record of 432.7 km/h (268 mph) over the flying kilometre on 28 January 1938, still remains the fastest ever officially timed speed on a public road as of 2010. It also was the fastest speed ever recorded in Germany until Rico Anthes bettered it with a Top Fuel Dragster on the Hockenheimring drag strip.

The main difference to the Grand Prix race car, which had to adhere to the 750 kg (1,653 lb) limit, was the engine. While the GP car had the 8-cylinder inline M125, which was rather tall, the record car was fitted with a V12 engine that was lower, which reduced drag.

- Engine: MD 25 DAB/3 60 Degree V12
-Engine Position: Front Longitudinal
-Aspiration: Twin Roots superchargers
-Valvetrain: DOHC 4 valves per cylinder
-Displacement: 5,576.75 cc / 340.31 in³ (82.0 x 88.0 mm)
-Compression: 9.17:1
-Power: 541 kW (736 PS; 725 hp) @ 5800 rpm
-Power/displacement 131.97 PS (97.06 kW; 130.16 hp) per litre
-Power/weight: 621.1 PS (456.8 kW; 612.6 hp) per tonne
-Transmission: 4-speed manual
- Engine cooling: Ice supplemented normal coolant as air intakes were
kept very small to improve aerodynamic flow over and around the car

^It seems like it could make a good competitor for the Auto Union Type C Streamliner concept that was in GT4.

I'd actually really like to see more vintage cars from 1950 or earlier.
This Bentley 4.5 litre for example.

Or the Bugatti Type 35

Alfa Romeo 6C 1750?

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for vintage reacers like these. Even though they aren't really all that fast getting the chance to compete in vintage car races with them would be rather good fun imo.

That would be very cool actually, good idea. GT can always use a little more humour and some less than serious racing.

Definitely would be a welcome addition, along with classic F1 and other race cars from the 40's, 50's and 60's.
