Chevrolet Corette ZR1 - Corvette Racing '11
5846084813_2cf2504292_z.jpg

In 2005, the Corvette entered the 6th evolution, replacing the previous C5. And then in 2009, Chevrolet announced it would be downgrading to the GT2 (now GTE) class to replace their GT1 counterpart.

The new car, now based on the ZR1 road car, is made with an aluminum frame, while the body panels are all made out of CFRP. In accordance with the American Lemans Series regulations, the car has ferrous (steel) brakes, not the carbon ceramic brakes seen on the road car.

The engine is also based on the Z06's 7.0 liter V8, though it is significantly shorter in size (a 5.5 liter V8), and has less power that either of the Corvette road cars (491 brakehorsepower).

Following it's debut at round 6 of the ALMS at Mid Ohio, the C6.R became an immediate winner, finishing first in its third race at Mosport, with Johnny O' Connell and Jan Magnussen at the wheel. And two years later, it fulfilled its destiny by winning the 2011 Le Mans 24 Hours, with Tommy Milner, Olivier Beretta and Magnussen at the wheel, beating off rivals like the Ferrari 458 GT2 and the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR.

Didnt they do a cuda like the superbird too? I would like to see the 91 cadillac SLS with the v8 added to :)

Dodge should use the charger and make a new Superbird using the charger chasis. For one, the charger is heavy and the original superbird is heavy as well. Throw a hemi V8 and call it a day.

Need to add this car and New Zeland to the country list. Must be cool to drive too.

Well, i got as far as page 2 and couldn't read any more lol. i haven't been on this forum in some time but once i heard that 6 is on the way i had to come and have a look to see if there was any more news here, and to have a look and see which cars are confirmed.

I can't be arsed to troll through 250 pages to see if anyone has mentioned this or not...but i want MORE JENSEN'S in the game, especially the Jensen FF.

I'd also like to see more jags, race cars as well as road cars.
PD should also be ashamed that the Ford Capri (all variants) is not in the game.
