It's the liveries, as someone mentioned, that matters, I don't mind if the change the logos to say Peniston Oils and Larsen's Biscuits.

Or they could change Marlboro and JPS to say Newport, nobody would smoke Newports, right?

A Newport cigarette doesn't just have tobacco in it if you get what I mean!

Not sure if it could be classed as an Easteregg, but why was the Alitalia sponsorship removed from the Stratos rallycar and why have most rally cars had their numberplates blanked out?

The Alitalia was down to copyright and licensing I believe.
Pretty much. As for the number plates? I think that's either licensing blocking it for whatever reason, or just a lack of modelling on the license plate.

People, shut up. Easter eggs, NOW.
We're not having debates about cigarettes were discussing liveries with AIRLINE sponsors which is a serious oddity.

So... I'd say take your own advice. Because that post was more useless than any sponsor discussion in this thread.

Not an Easter egg, but I'm not really picky considering the past page was just people talking about Tobacco sponsorships...

Oh Jesus just drop the subject. That ended ages ago.

Also, what is it then? Define it without fault if you're Certain it isn't an Easter egg.

An error by PD.
So the auto art logo which was on the Skyline and the V8 R8 being called the V10 weren't Easter eggs because they were also errors yet they were also featured heavily in the GT5 thread...

For someone who doesn't post Easter eggs, you're way too critical of other people.

Think about it this way.

In an Easter egg hunt, children look for Easter eggs which are specifically placed by their parents all around the garden. This is how proper video game Easter eggs should be as well, methodically placed and on purpose. Things like the Pozzi description are just mess ups by the devs, and show a bit of incompetence, so they are essentially like accidentally leaving a dead corpse in the garden. Thus they are not deemed as Easter eggs.

You should have seen him nitpicking my phrasing back at page 20!

Right, I point to my previous examples which were generally seen as Easter eggs. Why? Because GT isn't an Easter egg series, and we basically look for any anywhere. Like it or lump it, people will post these bugs, oddities or whatnot here. And you Cannot an Should Not dismiss them as a simple "Not good enough try harder" especially as you don't contribute yourself other than to tell others that there post isn't good enough for your thread...

Trust me I did, this ones being building up for a while

What might be an "Easter egg" is something I discovered back in January. I'm sure a few may already know, and especially those into photography have noticed. Or saw my post in some thread awhile ago.

The Lotus Europa S.2's nameplate on the back actually says "Europe" rather than "Europa". It's not a typo, it's real but I'm surprised it happened to appear in the game.

Another interesting thing about Spa in GT6 is that if you go to the podium on the 2nd garage area (as shown in the picture above) it says 'Spa Francorchamps 2011' meaning they modeled it from the 2011 version of Spa but I think it must have been before they changed to yellow and red for kerbs and tyre walls. Cool thing to find what year they modeled it off of.

That also proves that they just copy/pasted models from GT5.

Because it is easier to do so than go back to spa, rescan it and remodel it for the sake of having a few differences. Not to mention cheaper. Not sure how much but if you get a flight from Fukuoka/Tokyo to the nearest airport it sure as hell won't be cheap.

I understand, but some tiny retouches could've been done without the need to completely remodel the track.
