Mmm. Not bad.
I don't like it very much though because through and through I am a Megane RS man.
That's still the essence of the hot hatch. (and the fastest on the Ring)
Good to see more rivals coming in though.

Thats great!

Still hope the Focus RS will come alongside that car:

Hey, a new free car for people to still complain about.

At this point in time, the 2015 ST is nothing but a facelift of the ST already in the game... so yeah, sorta ;)

If it has any actual performance improvements remains to be seen, but I know I'm not considering it quite a new car in the same way the M4 was.

Hey, a new free car for people to still complain about.
All cars have been paid for. Largely by copies of GT6 sold.
They would only be free if you manage to get GT6 for free.
Main gripe is that we are still owed course creator and community tools.

I've been looking at my GT6 competition ticket instructions for Saturday. I don't think there's anything hugely in addition to what was in the news thread post about the ticket competition, so hopefully I'm ok to post this @Furinkazen .

If there's a problem for some reason with this post, then delete it of course, though please let me know why so I can avoid a similar mistake in future.

There's some speculation involved in the rest of the post, but I've hopefully made it clear that none of the speculation is anything but a complete guess on my part.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY OF THE SPECULATION BELOW AS ANYTHING OTHER THAN THAT

The instructions mention the same thing about "largest collection of Vision GT models" as was on the news thread.

Usual stuff about travel directions etc and taking a "waterproof jacket" due to the "unpredictable British weather" :nervous:

Only thing mentioned in more detail is where to find the GT6 gaming race seats which might be useful to anyone else on the forum who is going to Goodwood:

GP Club - 2 race seats trackside

Manufacturer's Area:
Nissan - stand up experience x 4 consoles

Alfa Romeo - 1 race seat
[SPECULATION - this seems unlinked to anything we have learnt already about the event, could this mean something new in the form of Alfa is coming to GT6 as well as the Focus?? Otherwise what is the reason for having a seat there rather than somewhere else???]

Ford - 2 race seats (this makes sense now with the Focus ST being unveiled at the show racing against the old gen ST, even if we sadly now have it confirmed that we won't have the new version in GT6, not yet anyway, who knows if it might appear in future)

Volkswagen - 2 race seats (SPECULATION - possibly the VW GTI Concept will be on display?)

Red Bull - 2 race seats

The AA - stand up experience x 4 consoles

SHOCK NEWS The AA is coming to Maintenance section of GT6 in next update, along with a very very very nice man...
[JOKING OF COURSE FOLKS ]

Moving Motor Show Area:
Mercedes - 2 race seats (SPECULATION - possibly the Mercedes concept will be on display?)

Nissan - 2 race seats (hosting GT Academy Live Event)
If you missed out on the Academy and want another chance this is the place to aim for!

Goodwood Hotel - 3 race seats

Hope this will help someone going to the event... :gtpflag:

I just noticed in the news:
" hosted by Nissan, Alfa Romeo, Ford,Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen. "

Pardon for speculating but, possible next VGT (after Nissan)?

Refer to my post on the other ("main") Goodwood thread. My competition ticket instructions also refer to a single seat at the Alfa stand.

I can't see an obvious reason why they would have one there unless there is a new car or something on its way.
I'll let you know on Saturday :D

Well the Vision GT's will be on display won't they?

Also, Alfa Romeo? Possibly a preview or something for the Vision GT?

Yeah, that's still got me wondering. Although it seems a bit early for the Alfa reveal, based on the recent past the cars are usually teased for a few days before a reveal and there isn't much time left for them to tease us :odd:

Also it's only 1 race seat at Alfa, that's quite clear on the instructions, if there was going to be a new car like with Ford wouldn't they have 2 seats at Alfa the same as Ford ???

This Focus ST time trial reminds me of the David Coulthard event with the SLS at the Top Gear Test Track.

Hopefully they do more than just stick the car in the game with no event.

From what i read on jalopnik this morning the 2015 probably isnt anything but a cosmetic refresh but who knows?

Edit: i guess he knows^ lol

My thoughts excatly. Not really hyped up for this car if it just a facelift...

I know you said usually but the Mitsubishi Vision came out of nowhere. They didn't tease that and it came in a update with little to no advertising.

I hope PD also took the time to model the new Mustang. But you know, logic and expectations never work with PD.

Am I the only one that's interested in what the new statue looks like?

Nope you're not. I'm looking forward to seeing what they're going to do to the sculpture to celebrate 120 years. We'll know at 10pm on Thursday :D
