GT6 has been a dissapointment (IMO)

I've been playing the game for about 2/3 months now and it just became boring really quickly. First off, by february PD should have released new game content (including the teased track) and the Ayrton Senna content but they haven't delivered. At first i praised PD for having cleared up some of the standard problems and even putting good sounds to the newer cars, but they have just been inconsistent with their promises, there has been only 1 vision gt car almost 4 months after the game's release, and 0 expansion packs for either cars or car customizations which were promised a while ago. There's been no word about the custom tracks, or the sound fix update which was going to be released 1 month after the game's release.

I love this game, seriously, for the first weeks it was a lot of fun, you may have even seen me posting my car pics on the photomode forum, i was really having a lot of fun with it, but after a while all the hype it build up just died for me. The other big problem is that i've started to see some Forza 4/5 videos and i can see why so many people prefer it over GT, the car cusomization is excellent, including awesome stuff like engine/drivetrain conversions and customizable liveries, and the car list may be small but it's really consistent, it includes all of the cars that have been relevant through history and every country has a balanced amount of cars. GT may have better driving physics and better graphics (than Forza 4), but the lack of content and the way it is presented is just terrible, and narrows the amount of time you can get out of the game. I really want to keep loving this game but I just feel like GT6 isn't nearly as polished as some of the older games in the series like GT2 or GT4, if PD can get things right on the ps4 I'm definately going to get GT7 but for now GT6 just seems almost un fixable to me, I know i just sound like all of the GT6 haters but in my opinion PD just lost its touch with this one. I may keep playing it for a while to see if PD can release some interesting updates/expansions but sooner or later I'm pretty sure I'll give up with it. Tell me your opinion about it, you might even change my perspective on this game if you can come up with good arguments, just please don't hate on me for not liking the game. Also sorry if there are any grammar mistakes, i'm an ESL speaker.

Hey @Leoz96 , totally agree with you !

I mean I already feel bored by the game only after 3-4 months and that is disappointing.
The game is poor in content and everything.
I used to play GT1-2 , Forza 2-3-4 and now GT6 !!
I'm not a fan at all of GT and Forza and as you can see I switched between games depend of content/price and Platform (Marginal Utility over Price).

But you know what Forza 4 on Xbox 360 was realized in 2011 and trust me graphics are better than GT6, I mean everything is better than GT6 except maybe and I have to say it Tyres and Suspension have better physics on GT6 but it's not flagrant.
Otherwise When you think about all bugs and the weirdest collision/Damage physics .....is it better ??
I enjoyed Forza 4 for more than 2 years without feel bored.
I'm playing GT6 because of the cost of Forza 5 and the Xbox one and a Wheel and because I'm was bored of Forza 4 also lol.
My advice is go head to forza 4.

As I said I'm not a fan of GT or Forza but of CARS. I have no loyalty for any Franchise/Platform and my observations/opinions are not influences by my feelings because I don't have at all.

I don't want to use GT6 anymore, the graphics are hideous (too many jaggies etc), & there's nothing for me to do in it. It's the most boring GT game I've ever had. Maybe I'll get back into it if the other half of it ever materializes, but until then it's GT5 for me.

I'd say, both Forza 4 and GT5 have better graphics than GT6.

I think you pretty much summed it up OP.

I'd say 90% of GT fans are disappointed in some way with GT6. Even the ones who like the game for the most part have at least one issue with it.

For whatever reason 6 feels rushed. There isn't enough content and the overly ambitious update schedule was never going to add more quick enough. It'll come out eventually, but 4 months is a long time with a game and especially when they essentially gave us their word we'd have something sooner. Without that added content it's just too short lived and limited.

I think it'll get better after GT5's servers switch off. I think we'll see the content and patches we are all waiting for start to come out once PD aren't balancing several different things at once anymore- they're a relatively small team and at the moment are probably concentrating on GT5, GT6 and GT7. Once GT5's servers go down the only way to race online in GT will be in GT6 so I think they will have to concentrate on making the game more appealing or they'll risk losing a lot of their fanbase.

They can try to rush a better game out in GT7 instead but it will still leave a very bitter taste in the mouths of those who bought GT6 expecting at least the quality of the previous game.
