GT6 Master Car List [NOT A WISHLIST]

Yeah, I've had that one for a year. And Zyla told me I should change it. :P

/offtopic

oh, so that's why. XD

Alright then, back on topic. I managed to count every car in GT5 (except for the stealths and chromelines) and every car comfirmed so far for GT6, the game total is still short of at least 60 cars. I guess TGS will show a couple more.

I'd be happy if they got rid of the concept crap, the stupid "15th Anniversary" garbage that don't count as I will never go near it and it'd be nice if the butchered muscle cars had stock versions after all that work to model some show stand P.O.S.

Come on guys, you can't say this list isn't accurate.
Only cars you could eventually criticized are the SEMA/Pebble Beach winners.
I could put them in red if you guys feel that's essential.

And how is the GT5 list not accurate ? Which cars listed aren't in the game ?
Certains cars may be available only to certain regions but every car is available somewhere.

Those concept cars in the latest trailer, are they going to be in GT6 or GT7 ? .. I know 1 or 2 have been in past GT's

According to the article on the front page, they should be released as GT6 DLC over 2013 and 2014.

It had been a while since I checked the GT5 list. Last time I saw it, it had cars that weren't in the game on the list.

To be honest, unless the car is confirmed to be in GT6, I don't see the need to have it on the master list.

This has probably been asked before but these blue specials are from the Gamestop edition right?

I would say that updated Super GT will be coming, it would be easy for them to do (HSV came to GT5), so i would guess they scanned the champions car for 2011 to take to GT5 and left the other liveries for GT6.

I doubt they will upgrade them, but that's just me.

Since the introduction of Vision GT an entire new door of possibility has been opened. I cannot confirm that the Alpine A110-50 will most certainly make an appearance as its currently Alpine's only know concept.http://www.carexpo.info/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Renault_alpine_a110_50_concept_car.jpg

So, on the list from the official site there's 1085 cars carried over from GT5. If I counted correctly, 29 additional ones are new and already confirmed in GT6. (15th Anniversary editions don't count in my view, since they won't be available for everyone). Also, premium-made standards don't add to the count.

So, 1114 known and at least 86 to reveal. I just hope the majority of those are not just livery duplicates of race cars, like 10 more NASCARs etc. Because 86 cars new to GT would be a lot!

Did anyone else notice that the McLaren F1 GTR Race car isn't on the list of cars carried over from GT5?

Actually it is, but under BMW still for some reason. Which I don't get why, they have the Mclaren License now; it shouldn't be a problem categorizing it as a Mclaren.

Yes, but don't you think it would be weird having just 1 up to date-ish car then leaving all the others as '06/'08 models? They also have the Super GT licence, so I would expect some form of updated cars (it wouldn't be that hard for the GTR's , just a new livery and slight tweaks etc). But that is optimistic me:D Having said that, GT6 has already surpassed my expectations for PD, so who knows? Slight race car updates are always part of a new GT, so I expect to see them. The other cars yet to come I think will be a mix of more up to date models and maybe a few surprises like the Huayra, Cobra Daytona and R18

I hope they fixed the Lister Storm V12 Race car. Gave it the proper weight and performance. Sick of seeing that car fall to the back of the pack so easily.

It is a big deal along with other cars from that period with incorrect weights. The Mercedes Benz CLK-LM (1000kg), the Panoz Esperante (1150kg) are overweight by 100kg and 250kg respectively from their FIA GT totals. Even the aforementioned McLaren was actually 900kg.

How so? It's owned and operated by the factory BMW team. I can't think of any other race car in that same scenario.

No real reason, just saying because I find it funny for some odd reason that BMW helped Mclaren in building a car and took the rights to it. GTPorsche, just don't take that opinion seriously. I'm just being silly (and possibly random), that's all. Thank's for clearing that up for me though, it's good to learn new things.
