GT6 Master Car List [NOT A WISHLIST]

No real reason, just saying because I find it funny for some odd reason that BMW helped Mclaren in building a car and took the rights to it. GTPorsche, just don't take that opinion seriously. I'm just being silly (and possibly random), that's all. Thank's for clearing that up for me though, it's good to learn new things.

The engine in the McLaren F1 is based on the V12 from the BMW 750i (E32?). It was rebuild by Bill Murray but it remained a BMW engine.

Bill Murray from Ghostbusters? Or Gordon Murray?

On a more serious note, I am hoping they fix the performance of some of the cars too such as the Tesla and the Caterham, which should both have much better accelleration.

Interesting, thanks for the info, but I think I'm done learning things like that now.

I want to get back on topic, it seems that PD made some good choices so far on the cars to put in GT6 and on standard cars to convert to premium.

The F40 as well has ridiculously slow acceleration from a standstill.

:ouch: I was thinking about what the internal code was for that 7 series, didn't pay attention to the name :banghead:

I tuned the Caterham to the maximum and tested it on the dragstrip 0-100 km/h in 5 seconds! The new Caterham 620R goes in 2.7 sec to 96 mph. Something is really wrong indeed with the GT5 Caterham...

The stock transmission has extremely long gear ratios.

Hey, look, it's Fisker. I bet the Karma was modeled prior to them biting the dust. Just add them to the list of car makers in the game that don't exist anymore. They're just the most recent.

In other news, Vision GT sounds awesome. Sounds like these will be cars that may or may not ever be released at all. It's a place were the participating manufacturers can share their visions, their dreams with the world, whether or not the cars will ever actually exist. For a game that's had such a profound effect on the video game and car cultures, this is a wonderful way to celebrate their 15th anniversary. Looking forward to seeing some interesting designs. And SRT is a participant. I think they're the only official American car brand in there with Jordan and Nike simply being concept car designers. I wouldn't be surprised to see at least a visit from the SRT 'Cuda that's supposed to replace the Challenger in a couple years. And SRT is working on a new Sport Truck, as well. Should be awesome.

EDIT: Correction I didn't see GM Design in there. But wouldn't they technically be a Concept Car builder along with Nike and Jordan? To be honest I'm excited most about ItalDesign and SRT, though.

Howcome theres no 2014 Corvette Stingray (C7) [Premium] -non anniversary edition- under Chevrolet ?

** Thanx for adding it **

I'm so glad the Stratos is Premium! God that car gives me goosebumps, I hope rally version is premiumized as well, or put in as the RM of the Stratos.

I think its realistic from what I heard this car suffer from a crazy turbo lag

No, I don't mean anything like turbo lag. Try parking the car and then accelerate at full throttle. The revs stay ridiculously low and it takes a good few seconds to even get up to 20 or 30mph. I can't really say what the real F40 is like, but with a 0-60mph time of 3.7 seconds there's no way GT5 is accurate. By memory, I'd say it takes at least 5-6 or more seconds to get to 60mph with the GT5 car.

The car in GT5 was the Final Prototype. The one in GT6 is the production car.

That's what I gather from the official site at least and they definitely make a distinction between the two...

This is correct. It may be semantics, but it's technically a new car. IMO it should be on the list.

I was thinking today about the cars that have already been announced for GT6.

There are 6 cars that have been upgraded to premium from GT5 so I was thinking that the cars that were new to GT5 but standard will most likely be upgraded to premium.
I do remember Kaz saying that "we didn't have enough time" when he was questioned on why the Bugatti Veyron was only a standard car. So I do feel that the Veyron will be upgraded along with cars like the Jaguar XFR, Lamborghini Countach Anniversary and the Audi R8 (Team Playstation) race car.

Also I was thinking that now PD have entered this new agreement with manufacturers for Vision GT it's probably bettered their relationship with them and I do think we may see 2 or 3 brand new cars to the series from these manufacturers. Like we've already seen the Z4 GT3, 507 and Z8 from BMW.

Now before you all start saying I'm a complete dreamer, I'm wishing for the impossible and throwing around silly ideas. Just remember its only my thoughts from today on what I feel could happen and I'm not saying that this is going to happen.

What are your thoughts?

Can I point out that, for everyone worried about 1000 Standard cars being imported from GT5, it's not that. Pretty much all the Premium cars from GT5 have been imported as well, and I don't think EVERY car from GT5 is being imported to GT6. It seems like less than 1000 cars from GT5 are being carried over, but I could be wrong. Seems like their adding a lot of new cars and upgrading a lot to Premium.

But, if you must complain about the number of Standard cars, (Which, I would assume, have gotten at least a graphical upgrade), look on the bright side: with the PS4 easier to develop for and with the graphical memory to support the rest of the machine, GT7 shouldn't have any Standards. We might get to see 1500 premium cars. But, we shall see.

Scirocco most likely.

Those wing mirrors/windscreen stickers.

Maybe a different livery, since it isn't that blue?

I had posted this awhile back, too.

The general consensus was that it was a Scriocco, but it looks black, and it also seems to be missing any kind of white blotch on the bumper that should've appeared from the Castrol sticker that features on the VW.

It's a very curious little piece.

I'm guessing he's talking about the 370Z. Of course, I don't think it is that.

The car in the screenshot looks nothing like the GT Academy 370z.
