GT6 Master Car List [NOT A WISHLIST]

Number yes, what matters is what makes up that number. Hopefully they aren't counting the anniversary models as separate models. If they are that's 50/200 already.

There's exactly 25 anniversary models.

Yeah probably.
To be honest, I'm still content that even if they add 50 brand new premiums.
For me thats enough to buy GT6 and look forward to them. I will also hope that at best, half of them are new generation cars, like 2012 to 2014 model cars.

All we've got are 25 anniversary cars guys!

25 of those 250 cars are dupes IF they count the anniversary cars.

That leaves about 162 brand new cars (If all 1088 cars from GT5 are transferring, which isn't true as they're eliminating the GT Academy GTR from S license, C7 Test Camo machine and some others).

I refuse to believe that they will do so :grumpy:

But the copious amount of free and paid for cars PD is promising might fix that someday.

We will get the Corvette C7 Test Prototype '12 "Camo" The one that we will not get is the final prototype that was the red/gray.

I'm ok with 150 new cars.. but only if that means:
~150 new cars + ~240 (?) premium cars from GT5 + ~150-200 newly premiumized cars from GT5, like Alpine A110, Countach...., Quattro, S4 B5, RS4 B5, M3 E46, Merc 190... and many more.

I think that this "newely premiuzed" will don't replace standart cars.

They better replace them. I'm getting sick of new cars just being new skins. A RM or TC should not count as a new car. It's a modification, thats all.

Those anniversary editions better not be separate cars.

I know that it's a sad, but true fact. At least 500 cars in the game will be premium.

Discounting duplicates and very much related cars it will be around 300 premiums.

Out of those some are racing cars, which I'd say aren't as much wanted as road going cars.

The first car I tried in GT5 was a premium Miata. There were two of them that were practically the same, just to boost the number, then I think the TC DLC version doesn't count under those conditions being able to modify cars.

Oh and out of whichever the amount is, 40 will be Nissans.

edit: the idea of these posts is to explain why GT5 did and GT6 will feel like it has few cars. 1200 in GT6 sounds great...until standards and premium duplicates are removed. Then some brands are way too overrepresented while others are very much lacking, most cars aren't used in GT mode nor online and so on. GT5 supposedly had more than 1000 cars, but it feels like a 100.

Depends on who you ask.

I prefer racing cars, RM's etc. over street cars. Mainly because Racing Cars are more forbidden fruit. You can become a completely eccentric millionaire and still not have the opportunity to drive some Racing cars. Meanwhile, you can buy any street car you want if you have the opportunity and the money.
