As many of you will be aware the online payouts are horrible however I've noticed that the payouts are not based purely on where you place, how many people are in the room and the length of the race as they were in GT5. I came across this when I was in a lobby with some friends doing 5 laps around Mt Panorama and I received 3800 cr for 3rd while my friend who came 2nd only got 3400 cr. I'm further ahead in career mode than my friend so while I can not confirm this I believe the online payouts are also scaled by the number of stars you have in career mode. If anyone has other theories on how the online payout is calculated please share also if anyone has more than 150 stars if they could share there typical online payouts.

Payouts need to be increased. I don't expect huge money but probably double than what's been given, for online and career modes.
I think what PD might do is have something like double cash weekends or something similar.

Maybe it's for the added realism and added challenge so not everybody can go out and buy the top sports cars and prototypes after a few hours of racing?

10 hours in I have 850K, and I only spent 36K.
How long do you think it will take to buy each car?

You probably wont ever get to buy and tune every car, unless you have no life lol.
But to buy and tune all the cars you want, something like...200? than that will take god knows how long

Yep, I have every car in GT5 and plan to have every car in GT6!

It's obvious now they've torpedoed the economy to encourage buying credits with real$$$. Seasonal payouts are a joke, online are no better and ASpec is...ASpec. Welcome to Grind Turismo6 👎👎👎👎👎👎

Online earnings wasn't really profitable in GT5 either, and cash isn't hard to come by in single player at all. I have earned over 1.5 million by just rushing though the stages, so getting the cash for a car worth 15 million isn't that hard. The market is EXACTLY like it was in GT5 pre-seasonals.

It's called grinding and it sucks.

Yes it's exactly like it was on GT5 pre-seasonals. You don't see the problem with that?

They added the login bonus, online prize money, seasonals, and lower PP bonuses to alleviate the horrendous income rate. So they knew and acknowledged there was a serious money issue in GT5.

Now here comes GT6 with microtransactions instead! Whilst undoing all the work and progress of the last 3 years.

Pretty sickening.

But I am optimistic that it wont stay like it is, and I am enjoying the game regardless, just with a slightly sour taste in my mouth.

Glad I took the 1 million bonus from Amazon pre-order, it is going to take forever to get all the cars I want this way. So far I have only bought two, the Fit and a Focus, the other 6 I have won.

i like the fact it takes loooong time to get anywhere with the cr , i mean look at fm4 i had all cars in the game withing a week of release and most tuning upgrades are free so i was bored in 2 weeks , this low level pay outs will keep the game fresher for longer :)

I want my money back. There is in manual that i can choose what car i want from 1200 cars. Nothing says that it will take ten years to get the credits for it. Maybe if u are in america can suit the Pd and Sony by telling lies.

3 hours in, I have 80,000 cr saved. Need another day I guess to finally buy that Lexus LFA Nur edition, it has my name on it. I'll buy some credits online when there is a sale. This game is worth far more than $60 anyways, it always has been. Then again, I know that the car manufacturers themselves should foot this bill. Holy hell, I think Kaz is a billionaire by now. Good for him, well deserved.

Grinding in GT5 had nothing to do with credits. You had to repeat events in order to advance levels to compete in new events. The ability to "level up" is much more important than credits. Thus far it appears GT6 has it perfect.

GT6 has RPG elements within the game. Complaing you cannot have everything you want when you want it is a personal problem, not a game issue.

This is going to make money hacks attractive to people who wouldn't normally dream of doing it.

With three people a my house (2 of them under 9yo) trying to buy cars each on their own account there wont be enough time in the day to grind as much as needed to get everybody what they want. And I'm not made of money... the Cr/$ prices are ridiculous. Honestly a $50 pack should be more like Cr. 75,000,000.

I really hope you're talking about GT5 once seasonals were added.

I'm not far enough in the game, so I can't comment on this from experience. But if the economy in GT6 is just like GT5's pre-seasonals like I've heard some people say, then yes, it's definitely a game issue.
