Low Miata's, sure. Stanced Miata's = forget about it. That crap annoys the hell out of me, totally defeats the purpose of that car.

I quite like stanced Miatas. I'd never do it to mine, but they look a lot better than some other cars. Done right they look pretty cool.

The beauty of Miatas is that they're so flexible as a platform and parts are so stupidly cheap. Anything you want to do to a car, a Miata is a good choice. Racer, cruiser, drag car, show car, whatever. Even if that means molesting it so that it scrapes it's belly on every bump in the road. :)

Doesn't mean I have to like it.

In fact I find the whole stance movement pretty lame. Hopefully the kids will grow out of it.

I would've rather there be a few "special" examples from each gen., such as the na/nb coupe, nc super20, etc.
Agreed.

I hope the stance movement fades away eventually (it probably won't though).
I mean, I think some cars actually look great stanced, but other than that; I just think it's stupid and I hate it in some cases.

Updated OP

OST:

Wait a minute. There's some Isamu Ohira in there (composer of the menu music in previous Gran Turismos, his music was missing in GT5) as well as the songs by daiki kasho from GT4 such as Soul Surfer and What To Believe.

Hey OP; Are we able to choose whether we could drive convertibles top up/down?

Don't know if that was already asked or verified.

I noticed those GT4 Daiki Kasho songs as well, they are my favorites! I miss "Dakota Star/Chiaki" :(

On the topic of the Willow Springs novice race. I still havent gotten an answer about switching headlights on and off manually.

I did on that before when I was driving the Nismo GTR GT3 race car during GT Academy 2013 demo accord to my memory around mid-summer this year.

Im hoping this is the case. The GT6 intro shows the Aventador switching its headlights on from parkers to low beams. Its good for qualifying. Headlights on for users doing a hot lap.

Oh boy, I fear that the PP system has been unchanged. Online fast cars are going to be the usuall I think.

PP system needs a major overhaul, I hope PD can fix things while the game is out. For instance taking out the engine limiter and adding PP to tyres, clutch, suspension, everything upgradable. This would make things interesting because you would have to tune up cars to match PP not just bring the slider down of cars that shouldnt be in the lower class races.
Erm... I saw the LMPs having 680-690 PP from the dealership, does that not look like a rework to you? They are usually 690-720(without turbo)

How do you suppose I test that? I don't have a bluray reader at the moment, sorry.

If you shine a light or look at the disc under light and it has waves on it, then it's dual layer (Like MGS4, Uncharted 3 and Killzone 3 for example) If not then it is a single layer. I'm thinking it is a single layer disc with the download being at 15gb and all.

Any word on the max number of cars in Arcade Mode and Career Mode?
From the preview events videos it looked like the maximum was 12...

Seen the car list. It's good I suppose. Maybe PD focused a lot on converting standards to premium. If they did I would be very happy. I'm looking forward to the DLC cars though :)

Seems my question was lost somewhere along the way.

Copy/paste of my post from the other thread:

Any confirmation on the inclusion of KW Suspension's 7-post Suspension rig ? (like a pic of the tuning-menu icon or it's UI screen, something to prove its there)

It was announced to be a part of tuning, first covered here -> https://www.gtplanet.net/kw-7-post-rig-gt6/

On my phone that isn't loading pics atm, so if its been posted just say so.
It was answered twice by myself and has also been answered in the OP.

If you read that Gt Planet article (available before the this thread existed) you will see that this function is only available on the GPS real time track replay mode. And for that, the only car that can use it commercially is a version of the Toyota GT86 with the data logger in it. Which is only available in Japan.

Is it just me, or are the Peugeot 206 Rally Car and the Peugeout 905 premium now?

And both Fords RS200?

Kind of looks like it, doesn't it? He was 3.3s ahead and then all of a sudden slows to a crawl along with the rest of the field. You can see the field following OP closely and then when the leader slows, they drop back as well.
Oh dear... :(

he said both RS200 are standards, but judging by the thumbnails on the dealership, with no tinted windows and a little bit of dashboard appearing over the windscreen, they sure look premium.

another way to tell, just look at the thin barcode around the center on the data side of the disc, if there's one barcode: single layer, if two: dual-layer. (that and of course the unusual warped rainbow effect from being dual layered)

Isamu Ohira is back!?
My dreams are fulfilled! His menu music was phenomenal. Let's hope for some remastered tracks, maybe some new ones

What are the words?.... rubber band!

I dont mind it at this stage before the patch. It just makes me want to build of the Fit to do this:

I've done that before in the older model Jazz... I didn't push like that though since it was my first time driving! But seriously, that car is agile!
