I've asked him for 720p performance, he will reply as soon as he can. However he says he noticed stuttering in 1080p. So performance is like GT6 demo I think.

I really cannot believe if they haven't improved that. I guess this is where quality goes when you want to be a part time game developer and full time automotive insider (Red Bull, Vision GT, etc.)...

I second this request (i.e. confirmation that AI adjustment affects A-Spec races). Please and thanks! :)

He answered. AI adjustment concern arcade mode only.

Youtube accept 30fps only. It's impossible you see a framerate drop.
Also, no tearing. GT6 is v-synced.

You actually can! Because youtube (or capture card) throws out every one frame of two. I mean if frame rate is 58 fps, youtube will show 29 fps at that moment. It's not like game running 49 fps, and youtube video will show you perfect 30 fps. No.

I agree with you. What's the point of having 1200 cars if you cannot modify/customize a single one to "make it your own"? GT doesn't even have a classic Mustang fastback (67,68...) (one of the most iconic muscle cars in the history). Sure it have the Shelby version, but it's not the same.
Its a pony car, the only real muscle car mustangs are the 71's - 73's the 71 having the most horse power of the three. PD seem to know more about muscle cars than you..

No, you're wrong. Completely.

It doesn't work like that.

Lets not forget that the "Almighty Day 1 Patch" hasn't been released yet as far I could tell from the earlier posts. So hopefully that could clean up framerate issues in the cockpit and some of the other issues brought up. I really hope GT6 doesn't follow GT5 with all the launch issues. PD might be spreading themselves too thin IF that turns out to be the case.

NOS change the PP?

took me 10-15 mins to gold the Coffee challenge. Not sure if it's a long time or not, it seemed impossible when I was half asleep last night. Should I upload the video and give away the secret or let you guys discover it on your own?
Yes please. Someone will do it and post it eventually. You might as well be the first.

Now explain to me how it works. And Proof it.

You have a game running like 50 frames per second (supposed to run at 60fps@60HZ), then you need to capture it in 30. Please tell me WHICH of those frames will be captured?

Yes it will be recorded at 30 but you will see a stuttering, because input frames are cannot JUST be divided by 2, so you need "select" those 30 frames from 60 hz signal WHILE your game running at 50...

Input "motion" is not perfect in first place. Even with V-SYNC. And just how you gonna make perfect 30 fps from 50 frames supposed to running at 60 fps? Even if you record it at 25 fps... (you need game running perfect 50 fps input in that case).

Sorry guys...
Edit: multiple edits, dat language barrier...

Edit 2: I understood why you think so. You are basically mix up and confuse refresh rate and frames per second. Remember GT6 running at 60 Hz, that's all your capture card knows, so it's will just remove every single frame from two...Or your capture card knows and shows you ACTUAL frame-rate? Then it somehow captures it at variable frame-rate (VFR) and magically converts it to a "perfect motion" 30 fps video?

Edit 3: even if you find those device which can somehow determine actual frame-rate of input video (like DF uses), and capture it at variable frame-rate youtube only allows constant frame-rate source...So it will stutter.

...and even if youtube will allow VFR video you will see a stuttering because your display can only show at constant refresh rate (60Hz, I bet)

...and even if you will have G-Sync monitor you will see a stuttering because game actually skips those (not ready for rendering) frames.

Sorry guys and mods and everyone...He calls me wrong, completely - I've proven my point because it's important for gaming (and only for gaming, look Nvidia G-SYNC)

Let's see how it turns out to be on our own consoles and displays. We should not forget that what we're seeing is recorded footage that relies on the quality of the OPs gaming display and how that translates to our own monitors. Anyway, I'm not expecting much from the first patch other than online features. It wouldn't make sense to spend three years developing a game and then fix major issues after the game has gone gold. Some people don't even have internet to apply patches.

Yeah, forza has so much more new things like 14 tracks , far less cars , great time/weather simulation. Face it is far worse than a "last gen game" just the graphics are a bit better.
On the car front people need to be conscious of the fact that whilst FM5 only has 200 cars Turn10 chruned out 200 next gen cars for their new game whilst pd only churned out 120 odd, Turn 10 wins hands down on that front.

@BHRxRacer I know you cant get online yet but can you tell if its still possible to gift cars to friends?

Thanks.

You can see difference ? Not me.

If there is a drop to 60 fps, you can't see it since Youtube blocked at 30fps. It's impossible.

For tearing, nobody found this after playing demos. Normal : GT6 is v-synced.
