It's basically a big GT5 patch. Visuals, UI navigation, physics and loading times improved. I like how license tests are required now, and the new game progression system. I'll take a screenshot of the 2nd set of events later.

Replays didn't improve, neither the video quality or the features/angles. There are also some annoying things like not being able to rotate the car in GT autos when buying wheels. You're stuck with either full front or full side view. It's still no where near GT4 to me, but still worth the money and time. Even for the new physics alone. If GT5 was GT5p Spec II, GT6 is actually GT5 minus a few features from GT4.

The cars feel lively. I'm getting more feedback. I haven't done any real racing so far except for a few events. I'm either sleepy or rushed to cap/upload. From the Daytona race I uploaded I can tell the AI is still kind of stupid, but it doesn't matter much I'm used to it.

My last questions are about Practice Mode. Is it like GT5 with Free Run, Time Attack, One Make Race? can we race against different types of cars or is it still a one make race? How many cars do we race against? Is there Free Run and are there AI cars in Free Run?

In my main account I only did 177km, 13/13 race wins + coffee break and b license.

You go to garage, then free run and pick a track. It's practically a time trial. No opponents. For opponents, you can do arcade. Number of cars depends on the difficulty I think. You can set AI aggression in settings menu.

That's not easy to answer until I reach the ia category. I rarely buy cars, using only the gift ones. I've finished the novice events, the first event in b and I have ~100,000cr. Not sure what that indicates. I think you'll still have to grind to be able to afford the 20mill cars.

Thank you, BHRxRacer. You provided pretty much provided all I needed to know until at least Monday and before the patch. I'm done. And especially glad youre enjoying the game. Im mainly looking forwars to just DRIVING and sampling all the new cars. Peace!

Ahh, okay. I don't really buy 20mil cars but at least getting up to 100,000cr is good for me. Maybe when we get online, seasonal events should probably have lot's of credits to earn I think. Thank you for the response @BHRxRacer. 👍

So no difficulty levels, eh? Just more turtles between us and the rabbit.

While it's promising that there will at a later point be 16 cars on the track, I can't say I think much of that as a way of moderating the difficulty of a game.

@BHRxRacer I have two questions about replay photo mode.

When you pause to take the photo, what is the first angle it gives you? What I'm looking for is the angle of the roadside camera like they had in GT4! One example I remember is on the old Rome circuit, where, if you pause while the replay camera is on top of one of the buildings, the first photo angle was in that view.

The other question is in two parts - Is there a "helicopter" view? Can you give an example of the different views available?

I also have a question about the "cabriolets" (or "convertibles" if you prefer).

Can you race with the top down?

There is no possible way to check that at the moment. You need a replay download, a compatible car, online enabled etc.

First patch probably won't go live until just before the street date. That was what happened with GT5. Quite a few people got early copies, but couldn't get the zero day patch that would let them access online features.
