@ECGadget I think you're reading into it a little too much. It just means that standard models will be displayed in the garage/dealership alongside premium models, whereas in GT5 they were separated into different categories (filtered in your garage and the Used Car Dealership).

You could indeed be right! I am just taking it at face value, but I am not holding my breath.

Everything looks better as GIF.

That quote is leading me to believe that all Standards will have had their exteriors "premiumised"... but just will miss out on the interiors?
That would be awesome. They could give some interiors through an update or DLC, like they did with the XJR-15 in 5.

I see a highway.... "U.S. Route 50"?

Anyone notice Nurburgring has been Retouched a bit?

Also for the Gran Turismo Arena "This is a great stage for Karts and small displacement cars. You can also remove the cornerstones and corner barriers to set up a variety of attractions using cones."

Yup, I am hoping for that actually, but with one slight difference to GT5. If a car is "upgraded" it should replace the standard with the Premium

And I believe that the 50 sign in a circle is in fact a speed limit, not a highway, reasons being
1) We have speed signs like that in the UK (though I am sure that this is European)
2) 50km/h = 30mph = a pretty standard speed around the world for normal roads.
My assumption: It's a photomode location

So then.

The "Simplified" cockpits, are they going to be a la Caterham in GT5 or remain the black cardboard cutouts?

If anyone notice on the screenshots that they show you what version you are running. So it might help out on what is new or old.

That's probably taken somewhere in the Valencia photo travel location.

Looking at some screens from FM3, you have unrealistic expectations.
You might be right. I mean, the Chrysler Prowler defeats any of the "Standard" cars in FM3. It's technically a Premium car in GT5. As for the other open-wheeled cars,......FM5 has open-wheeled race cars now!!>!?>!>?! WHAT!!!!

How is it unrealistic though? PD have achieved a lot. No troll-lolo

That's like adding stale candy from Halloween last year to this year's candy bowl! It's just cruel.

Troll-lo-lo indeed.

Whatever you want to claim about the FM3 cockpit quality they are fully modelled. PD have not fully modelled 800 interiors.

The only reason the Prowler and other open top cars in GT5 were better detailed is because they were open cars.
