I believe it dynamically installs to HD as you play - it may have been the first time the track was used and been installing that time. Not sure but that's how I think it works and thereafter it loads much quicker. Can anyone confirm that?

I can't. I assumed the game installs everything as you play, not just as you come across it. So everything should be installed within the first couple of hours.

@Carl the Sloth, that's right. Water still looks a bit, uh, what's the word?. Oh yeah, ugly!

I just don't understand why PD makes the water pretty good on some of their original tracks (Autumn Ring, Trial Mtn. etc). But this one has been the same for soooo long.

:bowdown: man...i thought I knew how to drift. That's on a whole other level.
Nothing special with 1000hp on CH tires... Everybody can do that.
It seems that we're gonna have to wait till official release to see drifting videos with realistically powered cars because right now that 1000hp CH tires bullcrap makes gt6 physics looks exactly the same as gt5 : no grip, no traction, spin city.

Yeah i guess its a bit funny but failure on PD's part lol
lol. x)

I think it's funny, but at the same time considered it sort of a bad move on PD's part. I mean, they couldn't find other rally cars to choose? Meh, I bet it will come in an update anyway.
True, it does seem odd that those cars are there over the other rally cars. Wonder if the patch will fix that?
Also, I'm guessing that we're going to need to make a GT6 photomode sub-forum soon. Photo sharing with this game will be a hoot with all of the added cars, tracks, & the fact you can bring 2 cars onto phototravel.
We actually do really. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/board/gt6-photomode/ Can't wait to see the photos people will have in store. Them sunset and sunrise shots. Ohhh.

PD might, it seems like something they would patch in a later update.

Anyway, holy cow! There's already photomode subforums?! Oh yes! I will be participating in those as well. I think I still have my trusty USB that I've been using for photos of GT5.

Indeed. :) Also, I'll be keeping an eye out for your photos at the photomode subforum. 👍

It may be possible that he's not allowed to update Monaco because of the F1 license or something, but Project cars has an up-to-date Monaco i believe, so that may not be the case.

The lighting at night on Matterhorn looks amazing, especially with the orange clouds. Why they are orange I have no idea but its funky as hell, think there was a video posted a page or so back demonstrating it. Night racing looks a hell of a lot better now, it almost lands that cosy element of cruising in a car at night with the heater on with subtle music playing:
Clouds over here get orange pink and purple at sunset some days..

I think the F1 license has nothing to say as long as PD uses the name Côte d'Azur and a slightly different layout. Just public streets. Is it even exclusive to F1?

Interesting thing is apart from all licensed F1 games (and GT of course), I haven't seen it in many racing games up to this point.

In my opinion, looks much better now. The TMS demo had too many random scratches but here there's actually some visible deformation.

i think there is actually less deformation now...just from what i recall. either way, i dont like the looks of those black scuff marks or whatever they are...
