Yes. Look at the pictures from the auto shows the car has been at. There is clearly an interior there.
Either way, PD should have waited to finish the car before releasing it, and not giving us another halfarsed finished car.
I wish they did, but they specifically said the car would be added on Day 1.

> Implying Ranman was referring only to that obvious concept art piece when there were clearly other renders in that link.

One small step at a time...

But if they have rights for Senna's career until 1987, why include the 1988 uniform? Maybe there's something good going on...

They can have his suits and what not but if they can't get cars from 1987 onwards, then continuing his career past that would be less than ideal. (speculations)

REQ

Can someone please post a video of Lexus ISF stock? I really want to know if they´ve managed to screw one of the best sounding cars in GT5

I don't understand the should just make the tires squeal for the orange and brief red heat indications and then just quiet after that, because if you're going to be driving, burnouts, etc it's going to be visual so you know you're spinning with smoke and tire marks, but it's going to be a lot less of a headache and a little more realistic in most cases

1988. McLaren...

Is this racing suit actually available in the game?

Smart Rims (@Tm)

I guess we're going a bit off-topic now, but I did a quick concept sketch.

Roll direction is counter-clockwise.

Flaps undeployed for minimal wind resistance:

Flaps deployed to divert air to the brakes and to increase wind resistance to aid further in braking:

My only concern at this point is wether these rims will act as jet turbines and cause latheral trust? Could cause some scary moments during high speed braking.

Edit: It could also potentially suck a lot of air under the car and make it airborn I suppose. Not what you want when you're braking hard...

What's up with the tesselation? In some of the pics it looks like it's enabled (perfectly round curves) but in others.. it's definitely off.

It's not going to generate enough thrust to worry about. The tires are cambered and during braking they are pushing outward anyways. I like the design.

Why are we comparing graphics quality with a PC sim?

Yet you can see how good graphically speaking Gran turismo 6 is compared to pCARS and this also shows what it is missing because of the hardware...mostly DX11 features, post processing effects, better anti-aliasing, LOD distance, low resolution textures in the environment and some more things...Add that to GT7 and you´ll beat pCARS PC master race graphics.

I know that because I own pCARS and I still love how GT5/6 looks compared to it. In some aspects GT5/6 still wins in my personal opinion. Colour palette, lighting is way better if you don´t look at what is missing. (I play my console and PC games in a 47"Full HD TV at 1080p)

Idea: If we flip the flaps the other way around they will suck air out from under the car, generating downforce 💡
