Now I would like to see if there's invisible barriers on Matterhorn ![Smile :) :)](/wp-content/themes/gtp16/images/smilies/smile.svg?v=3)
There are no invisible barriers at willow. If the car goes too far off track, it resets. The distance you're allowed to go before that happens is unusually generous for a GT game.

Interesting. Obviously it's to keep people from disrupting a race entirely, but if only they let us "roam freeThere are no invisible barriers at willow. If the car goes too far off track, it resets. The distance you're allowed to go before that happens is unusually generous for a GT game.
It'll be even easier to disrupt a race on there. At least to the side of the track and behind the starting line would be great. It's just wishful thinking though :\.Thats tons better than invisible walls. If TGTT is still in the game I hope they removed those barriers.

Thanks for the update Jordan 👍 This is great news imo... It is necessary to have some sort of "blocker" for the infield to prevent people from cheating online though![]()
That's just it. I don't think they want to allow the douchebaggery some people are into when they're using online/offline multiplayer. Even if that's not a good enough reason for them/Kaz not wanting to, then it could be because of their linear way of thinking. Strict. The game would just need to detect any car with four wheels on the grass moving > 10mph and ghost it.
The only reason I want to be able to have freedom all around the track is to treat it like a playground. Work on sliding/drifting. All that good stuff.Looking at the way the car slowed when it was in the grass, I'd say that's gonna slow someone's progress. Hopefully to the point where its not even worth trying it.
Can someone do me a HUGE favour? Can you take a picture in high enough quality of the GT3 cars weaving to heat their tires so I can make it my desktop background?
No idea how to do that from a video..
WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! 👍
Press printscreen while the video is playing open a program similar to paint, or you can use paint. Paste the image in there crop it and save it. There you go, it should only take 2 or 3 minutes.![]()

Are you saying that being in the grass unnaturally slowed the car down orrrr...?
I'm on a macbook![]()
Also, I'll finish uploading the Willow gameplay tonight when I get back to my hotel. It will be up in probably two hours.

Well, it's sand so that makes a difference. I'm only worried about it overly slowing you down, because I want to be able to do some dancing on the infieldHere's what I meant: On GT5, you could shortcut corners with minimal slowing at certain tracks. On that video, it appears the grass/sand slows the car enough that you can't do the exact same (not with that kind of car of course.
I'm sure we have completely different MAIN reasons for being happy about this.A welcome change.
It's going to be the camera's mic recording the sound. Will the sounds work?
