It's an iPhone 5. The racing seats vibrate terribly because the speakers are built into them. Nothing I can do about it.

Jordan, when using the cockpit view in the R8 at Willow Springs, was the sun really that blinding as it appears on the video?

It was one of the things I wish they fixed from GT5, where in cockpit view the light/dark balance did not seem right (as opposed to the exterior views).

In the GT6 video it still looks to be the same, as the sun doesn't appear blinding at all once you switch to one of the exterior views...

Willow is going to be a popular track. Very high speed and pretty straight forward. Will be fun with tuner cars there to try out some replication of time attack.

Thank you Jordan for the Audi Willow Springs video. Can you please post the complete replay, including and most importantly the jump at the end (from an outside cam). Thanx

-New flags beside driver's names.
-digits (10?) appearing beside tire life...
-reshaped rear-view mirror
-easier to read/see gauges

Well, I got everything I wanted. Well, kinda.

I'm happy for the new tracks, especially. We needed more tracks, we got more tracks.

Any news on weather?

worst driver in GT history!!

With such a driving you cannot see anything related to physics etc.

Seems like they heaven´t improved the Misfire simulation..
Always only misfires on downshifts... (+ on a modern standard car... not very realistic)

So much goodness I keep seeing watching the video's and viewing pics...something new just pops at you each time. :)
The grass particles
Tyre smoke, dirt dust and shadows look improved
The new lighting/shading (different sun angles?) look amazing.
And I may have missed it, but has anyone uncovered the meaning of the new tyre numbers? What they represent. :dunce:

Why would you want that? The giant country flag tags in GT5 online are annoying and unnecessary enough, now they've even put country flags in offline races - why would you support that?

I'm sorry, but apart from improved graphics I can't take anything good from that video. There are however many negative things, the chase camera is the same terrible useless crap like in GT5, the exaggerated unrealistic smoke and backfires on downshifts stay the same, the very artificial perfect automatic clutch on manual cars is the same too (of course it is, it's a time trial game after all), and appearently the new physics/assists aren't easier to handle for casual players at all, like Kaz claimed, because he thinks more realism = easier, more accessable driving. What a stupid statement, especially when casual players use buttons and sticks to drive, not a physical wheel.

It pains me when people like that get to drive the game but most of us here don't :(

This.

And where are the reveils PD mentioned? They said they save things for E3, plain lie, what they offered was a more stable demo build with 80% of the 'new' content we saw at the initial presentation already and more fake promises in the trailer (they used real car sounds).

Sorry for the rant but I'm really angry with PD now. Their promotion is completely flawed, they still haven't officially shown any gameplay. Right now, looking at the official material. you could think GT6 will be a fancy car video render software.

Is the Concept Movie #2 available in 60FPS anywhere? Jordan, if it was included in the press kit, could you upload it?

In GT5, it also backfired when reving up while standing still (well, when you let off the throttle).

I'm interested to know what the numbers next to the tyres represent, they change colour with the tyre icon but the numbers stayed the same. A numerical measurement of tyre wear amount, or tyre wear efficiency?

Could well be hopefully, since they claim to have developed a new tyre model. I would rather it showed an actual value such as PSI or Bars instead of a 1-10 scale if that were the case.

I got to drive the DeltaWing, and was really surprised with how it felt. It has a lot of grip and when it started to go wrong, it was easy to recover. I did drop the back wheels off the edge of the track on the turn-out, though! (My gameplay footage didn't have sound, but I'll try to get some tomorrow.)

I was just thinking about that. It's probably very easy to forget how wide the car actually is from the cockpit cam, so you have to watch out not to brake with the back wheels on the grass and spin out.

In that video it seems to me that A. He doesn't know where the brake pedal is and B. He is struggling with the FFB of the wheel, look at the car rocking as he goes down the straight. Either he isn't a wheel user or the FFB is turned up very high. With a DS3 this would not be a problem.

In fairness, with the new physics I'm yet to see a video of anyone, even our representatives from GTPlanet, drive well

I'm not expecting anything special really, just being able to do basic stuff like staying on the track for a few seconds and applying the brakes once in a while. I'm quite certain I wouldn't do that well either but at least I'd brake, hell, it's a natural instict. I'd be scared to see a few of those people behind the wheel of an actual car.
