Yep, I see it. Is that what MrMelancholy15 meant by a driver's vision? If so, I must have misunderstood. Sorry. :P
Nah, he literally means when your eyes shake. Some people say that it shouldn't be like that, but that just isn't true. Maybe not to the extent and "consistency" that it used to be in GT5 though.

See how you can "feel" the car's movements as it gets moving from a standstill without wheelspin, since it started from the pits.

I think it's the camera shaking, sorry, no love. I'll be incredibly happy if it's not, though.

Slightly. (See above)

:ill: GT5; "Enter a world of simulated physics that don't affect a driver in any way..." Wait, that's not a very good slogan, is it?

I'm surprised, really. Entering Eau Rouge in the Seb. Vet. X2011 thing would compress the driver's spine and make the driver into mashed potatoes. But, yet, well, nothing happens.

Use the bottom of the car's dashboard as a point of perspective. The video camera can't cause the car to bobble. Plus, from watching all these gameplay videos, the body roll of the car causes the same visual reaction when you're using the interior view. There's no debating it! :P

Interesting catch, perhaps it's real? Also, for anyone interested in seeing what it's like when I drive my kart, on my eyes, I've got a very interesting video. PM me for it, if you want to see the sort of G-forces and shaking I experience.

Our eyes do not shake like a camera does.

And even if they did, you still wouldn't see what the camera "sees" - your inner ear does a lot to relay information to the visual parts of your brain to figure out how your eyes are moving relative to the world, and thus make sense of the unstable images it's getting. You can't get that off a screen.

As for "vibration", well, it's all vibration - it's just a matter of frequency (and / or amplitude!!). There comes a point where your body, ears, eyes and brain (proprioception) can't do anything about the physical movement of your eyes (as a whole, and its individual components...), and things do get blurred. But I expect that's different for different people, and it's something that would need research to be done properly - if PD are willing to do that, I'd welcome it (gimme a grant, I'll do it myself!).

Otherwise you're stuck with some artist's memory of the events, which is no good for realism (as anyone who has ever told a "story" will confess). And you can have immersion with realism; if you're not getting it, you've not got the full picture in your realism.

 WTH?! Shelby GT500 2013? 2011 Renault Megane Race Car? SRT Viper GTS?! Ford Focus ST 2013?!

Did I say that I love this game yet? Because if I haven't, I'm going to say that I really, really love this game now!

This is rather confusing. Are there cars the normal version doesn't have other than the 20 "special" ones? I sure hope we don't get any locked content for the sake of stupid preorders. That would make me really mad.
