I have not tried it yet. Haven't much felt like it. Ever since the latest Sony firmware update I've been getting static'y popping noises through the speakers (even after checking the settings and buying a new HDMI cable) so that's driving me nuts too. Also, I hate to admit it, but some of the constant problems of GT6 are really starting to wear thin lately. Like racing tires CONSTANTLY sounding like a pack of hound dogs. I watch a lot of racing and I've never seen in-car camera footage where the tires are constantly howling with the slightest input from the driver; but I need the race noises to help for my shift points. I already have the menu music off because I can't stand to hear "exercise your chemistry" one more time and for whatever reason GT6 only uses my custom playlist once before reverting back to its playlist. So unfortunately, at least for me, with every update the game becomes more "broken" so I'm going to put it away for a little bit so I don't burn out on it completely.
 
Just wish PD would address some very minor things is all. Custom playlists reverting back to in-game BGM should be an easy fix. But this is PD, if it ain't broke they fix it, and if it is broke they release a statement/interview/blog about how the "broken" bit is actually a figment of our imagination and from their point of view the "broken" bit is nothing but an exercise in engineering perfection that we're too dumb to understand LOL. But seriously, not trying to slam PD, I just need a breather plus I need my course maker already :drool:!! Can't friggin wait for that one. If the GPS works like the rumors say, I'll be the first one up Pikes Peak with my GPS :D.

You better be able to share the courses.

Needless to say it's quite impractical to go all the way over to the Yoo-Ess-Ay just to scan some road.

LOL, well if you did there are a few GTP members here and we could get together for a Pikes Peak run. Although, despite its rally fame, Mt Evans just two hours away is a better 14,000 ft road than Pikes Peak.
 
As soon as this app comes out, you can bet a trip to the dragon is in order.:gtpflag:

I just hope it maps elevation changes....
 
Yeah I was hoping the same thing. The Dragon and the Peaks would be quite boring if the course maker just subbed in its own elevation changes.
 
Hi XS, I had a little think about that Garaiya today and tried out a couple of things, seemed to have worked. Did a 1.09.213 @ Deep Forest then a 1.05.452 at Rome on Racing softs. Give it a go.
 
 
Right, but are you planning on publishing them so we can all see them or are you leaving it up to the customer whether or not the tune is published for us to see?
 
I'm pretty close to finishing up on the RX-7 TC and I'm sure Dirty_Duck is about ready with the Alfa 155 and I think also the Merc CLK, just need to get together and do a little testing. Hopefully we can have these to you this coming week at some point.
 
So I have no idea when the index is going to be updated. Internet is down (again) and I'm on mobile at the moment which is more like 56k dial up than 3G. Then I go to work so....... It's so awesome I pay big money for crap Internet :rolleyes:. It's embarrassing that we're behind half the world in Internet speeds and infrastructure. One gig per second is an unheard of mystical creature here. Hell, I wish for one Mbps....
