Hello there Mr. XS, I've just made a little application on excel that tells you your average speed on a lap(s), I don't know if it might be of interest to the community, but if it does here's the link to the post: Track Average Speed . Have a good day. :gtpflag:

I'm on it right now. I'm not sure what the problem may be. All the research I've done only suggests that scripting and Active X may be turned off, but I highly doubt all your browsers have active scripting disabled, especially Chrome. I'm afraid without any more insight into the problem I don't have a quick fix. Everything is google based so while I can edit the site's HTML I can't do anything about the spreadsheet's code. Have you been able to use it before?

hello,
for information, my home works very well with google chrome :)
excellent work Mr XS, 👍

As stated above, I'm getting the same "Error: Request timed out" thing... I can report getting this error on the following sections:

-Main
-Le Mans
-Replica
-Super GT

I opened each section to see which got this error and which didn't get this error... Maybe this could be of useful information for you all..

It's a problem with some people's browsers not supporting the spreadsheet "gadget" on those pages. I've tried to research it but all answers come up with make sure your browser has the latest service pack installed, make sure scripting is enabled, or download a new browser such as Dolphin or Chrome. At this point there literally is no other way to build the index which won't have the same effect and I can't build one from scratch just using HTML on the site. So I hate to say we're out of options but I'm coming up short. If I download the whole list it downloads everything, and I have HTML code in every cell so that wouldn't be much help to you guys either. Let me think of a workaround. In the meantime please make sure you have the latest versions of your browsers installed with scripting, active scripting, and active x enabled. Firefox does not support scripting for this however, you need either Chrome or Explorer.

I hate to add to this but I use Google Chrome, it is up to date and I also get the error message. I know you are doing what you can. I am just adding to the feedback. This is on the Super GT page which is pretty much the only one I visit.

I use chrome too and have never had a problem. Anyone with some tech experienced have any insight? I'm literally about to scrap the whole damn thing and just go back to a simple list like AdrenaTune.

PS, have you been able to use the SuperGT page before? If so it's a Google Server problem.

Hey XS,
I've never had a problem & really appreciate the work you've done here. I'd hate to see it scrapped due to a few people suddenly having a problem. I feel sorry for them but.... It seems the majority of us find it works just fine.

Hi XS,
I have no idea what the issue is with the script but I have had no problems with it on IE at work, chrome at home and it even works perfectly well on my phone, which is something because nothing else seems to work on this piece of 🤬.

I was wondering, how difficult or time consuming it would be to have the script section as it is and just update the original list you have on there already?

I'd hate to see all of your hard work gone to waste after all the time and effort you have put into it for our benefit:gtpflag:

You mean update both lists? It would literally be twice as much work. So instead of 30 hours a week it would take me 60. I have an idea I'm going to try probably Friday (because I just got off work and it's 2:00am) so tomorrow (which is today) I'm sleeping lol. But on Friday I'm gonna see how long it takes to download the list as a PDF, then batch find 'n' replace all the HTML code and upload it here. If it only takes me like ten minutes and everything looks fine, then once or twice a week I'll upload the PDF for everybody, and keep the spreadsheets too.

Woaw!!! Yeah I'd say that was a little time consuming (Understatement of the year!) I was only wondering....forget I ever mentioned it. Lol.

That sounds like a good idea. Is there anything else we can all do on our end to make it any easier for you at all?
I mean 30 hours a week is a hell of a long time. between that and work it's amazing you even have time to sleep.

Speaking of which do enjoy your well deserved slumber, hope you don't have any Google server related nightmares in your sleep, looks like you have had way more than your fair share of them in your waking hours.

No. The links show up on the page but I have never seen your spreadsheet. It just gives me the blinking dots then the error message. I did not realize what I was missing until I started reading about other people issues. I have been checking daily because the links to the builds has not been updated for some time but then I read you were sick. Still, this is a great asset to the community. I would hate to see you give up on it.

EDIT: I just downloaded and installed Firefox. Now I can see your spreadsheet. So the problem lies with the individual browser installs but I do not know why or what is causing the issue.

. for a car with 384 HP has much torque it makes it very difficult at the exit of the curve with soft sports tire, tire now with soft and pleasant to drive in all situations and especially street circuit race.

I realise that you are a busy man and you've gotta actually play the game once in a while so don't rush to add the new tunes from my page. Whenever you have time. The ones I can't see on your list are from this link downwards in the garage. Link

Again, No rush! cheers

Can you do me a big favor? Can you please start up Google Chrome, go to settings -> advanced settings -> Privacy -> Content Settings and make sure these boxes are checked: Allow All Sites to Run JavaScript, and Plugins Run Automatically. Then go to the directory and see if it comes up for you. Thanks!

I second that for sure!!!

Take it easy, unwind, have a cold one...or two and just drive. People know where to look.

It doesn't have to be 30 hours, but I click and read through nearly every thread on the Seasonal, Tuning, Drag, and Drift forums to make sure I do not miss any tunes. If I only did the tuning forum it would be less time than that. Also I do other things too which make it enjoyable, such as taking the time to really look at each and every tune and think about how that tune would affect the car. I like the tunes, that's why I like doing this, because I enjoy seeing the tunes and how they would work on the cars. If I only plugged 'n' chugged every tune it would take me a little over an hour a day. But I wouldn't be doing the directory if I didn't enjoy it.

@XS, I have never had an issue with opening the directory until today. I use chrome on my laptop and on my iPod, the laptop was fine until today but my iPod still is fine with opening it. I will restart my computer quick and if that fixes it I will put in an edit.

Edit: No luck, I'm still timing out. I'm sorry that this is happening to more people now.

Well, that sounds like a lot more fun way to do it for sure. I'm glad it's not just staring at all those lines of code instead of getting some good time with some nice cars in there too.

That is sure to.make the work all that more pleasurable:)

Anyway sleep time for me, enjoy your hunting!

I checked my settings. They were already set as you recommended. I reset them anyway as you suggested. I still have the same result. Hope this helps. I am satisfied that I can now log on with Firefox if I want to see your Directory.

In my situation Opera, Firefox, & Chrome fail, IE succeeds. Just today Dolphin on my Samsung 10.1 Note succeeded where yesterday it was failing. I checked that Chrome was set as you asked.

When the main list page loads you obviously see those three blinking dots. If you get the error timed out message, scroll down past that and you'll see a "Manual List". I have updated that list for you (or anybody having difficulties) on the main page only (the other pages soon to follow). Unfortunately you still have to CTRL + F to search that list, hence why I called it the manual list. I will keep that list updated several times per week.

PS, DaBomm4, try it now, I was editing the spreadsheets when you were trying to access them.
