GT6 Update 1.08 (Undocumented Changes in OP)

Exactly my point, I came here to find out about undocumented changes and so far we just have multiple pages of whinging, as usual. The undocumented changes threads are always my favorite and I enjoy spending my work day (when the boss isn't looking) reading through them and finding out what's waiting for me when I get home! But so far, today has been nothing but complaining.

So what you're saying is, you're annoyed people are complaining about something concerning the 1.08 update in the 1.08 update thread.

You can love the game, hate it, I really don't care. But come on, where do you want people to go when they have comments (good or bad) to make about something in an update? If you want all negativity relegated to the whining thread, then by that logic all positive comments should have their own thread as well.

I was racing the Lotus 97T in arcade single race and after exiting and checking the mileage it's still 0.

Does it put you against 9 other Lotus?

Where does the OP say this is dedicated solely to undocumented changes? It doesn't.

Also can I again point out I made one post directed at one person. It was you lot, again, that started arguing. Not me.

Not sure if it has already been mentioned but equipping the 97T with an "aftermarket" wing changes the available rear downforce values from 1000-2000 to 1005-2020 regardless of which version is applied.

Sorry, but "complete makeover" definitely sounds to me like they're completely remodeling the circuit. I'm not surprised though. Somewhere along PD's self-ascribed relentless pursuit for perfection they decided to stop going the full distance with stuff like this.

Pd wants you to think that this is the track according to Senna. He drives so fast, he can see the future of track sponsors.

Transmission whine on deceleration with the British F3 Racecar. I never heard that in my life in a GT5~6 game. Best sound bar none so far. Better sound/immersion than the Lotus IMO. Perhaps because the Lotus is tuned a very certain way, that doesn't mimic the traditional F1 2007~F10 car I was used to.

I thought Brands Hatch 1985, would be exactly that. The fact that they've just changed a few corners & left the rest entirely untouched just smacks of pure laziness. With each passing day I'm going off PD more & more. Project Cars just can't get here quick enough!

Right, because I'm sure it would have taken just an afternoon to model/create/render all the scenery and buildings and such. Total laziness. I don't pretend to know the kind of work that goes into making those kind of changes, therefore I'm not going to criticize them. My point, if people want a top-quality racing game with great graphics, effects, and the best track modeling currently on offer.........maybe we shouldn't be looking for that on a 7 year old console. I'm still amazed at what they manage on this piece of junk hardware and until I can afford to buy a proper PC I'm not going to complain too much about what we do have.

I don't care for PD and I think the core portion of GT6 (and GT5 for that matter) is garbage, I'm certainly not defending them or their crap game, but luckily me and my friends still manage to have a helluva good time with it despite it's failings. 👍

Correcting a bit to avoid confusion, it only applies to wing changes, not to the winglets, brake ducts and whatever the "Aero Kits" section includes.

While I can't argue against the point that the game developers and publishers fell over a bit with GT6, I will point out they have no control whatsoever how or what everyone else thinks of it. That's every individual's choice and responsibility. But hey, it's 2014 and few left on the planet seem to choose to take responsibility for themselves.
