No one is bullying anyone here. If anything, I'd say you're the one who have some growing up to do, if you came to that conclusion based on this thread.
If you're put off by people correcting others, then I suppose you have no real problems in life.
The first two pages are perfect examples of people sticking to the topic without making the thread into a wishlist.

In addition to what Jawehawk said (which is absolutely correct), let's examine something:
Explain to me, exactly, how that is on topic to this thread, which is supposed to be whether GT6 needs to exist in the age of patches. He didn't say "I want GT6 because I want a free-roam mode and that can't be patched into GT5." He didn't say "I a free-roam mode but I think PD can patch it into GT5." All he actually did is do a drive by "I want Thing X" without taking the time to even attempt to relate it to the thread purview.
So here's a suggestion for you, CDJW, since you are so cavalier with giving them out yourself: When you are about to go around White Knighting, I suggest you actually follow the advice you are giving before you give it. For example, before you chew someone out because they asked someone to stay on topic and not derail a thread with things that could easily get the thread locked, take the time to actually determine whether the person they were correcting was actually on-topic. At the very least, it would make you look less hypocritical.

Why GT6?
Cause i feel like GT5 Is to much Tuned down to make it work on a PS3 ...
-No flikkering shades.
-Same phisics in every mode.
-More modern cars.
-Better sound (Music and effects
).
-better online functions.
Still the game i play almost everyday and i get the feeling im missing something if i havent seen it for 3days or so is GRAN TURISMO 5

Id be happy to pay that 60Dollar for GT6 ... (+1000 for PS4 probably).
Its the only game you keep playing and it wont get boring like all the other games.

No, not really. How are we supposed to know anything beyond that he wants a free roam? How are we supposed to know whether he wants it put into GT5 or if he wants it in GT6 instead? This topic is not "what do you want to see in the GT series" no matter how you try and justify it as being that way. This topic is "how necessary are sequels to the GT series in the modern age."

I dunno about you, but I think this discussion is interesting enough (albeit not too far removed from several other ones in the main forum) that I'd like it to continue rather than get locked because people just start posting wishlists rather than the intended purpose.

Yeah, you need to prove quite a bit more before you make this conclusion. You can start by explaining how Jawehawk's initial post twisted anything.
You seem to be a PERFECT example of a large noise signifying NOTHING. lol. So much babble for no reason. All the prattle you can muster doesn't change the fact that my point is totally valid and I'm right. Original post requires a wish list of sorts. The people who have this strange hate on for "wishing" need to read another thread or find a place where your dictator-like dream crushing techniques will be welcomed.

It's funny. You talk about people bullying, yet the only person attacking anyone in here, is you.
The OP requires people to come up with reasons for why we need another GT game VS just adding new content to the existing game. So when someone says "I want this feature", it doesn't answer any of the original questions stated in the OP. Again, read at least some of the entries on the first two pages. There's pure gold in some of them, and they are on topic. None of them are simple "I want this" comments.
The only thing "annoying" is the CONSISTENT "wish police" I keep seeing. If a moderator wants to warn somebody about something being wrong, that's their business. Otherwise, people need to shut up about it. I don't like the way 3/4 of the people in here (the English speaking ones) destroy the English language either, but I'm not consistently in here going crazy about it because it IS NOT MY PLACE to do so. The very nature of this thread makes it at least partially a wish list. Why is it even annoying to you people anyway? I could read what people would like all day and it wouldn't matter to me. Are you really that much of a complete control freak? It did just occur to me I'm probably arguing with a bunch of bratty teenagers, so I should probably just ignore this nonsense.

The point is kazunori wants more to know of his dream. I think gt6 will be like gt5 with lots of add Ons but I want it to not let the side down. For obvious reasons.

Well I'm not a mod so can't say for sure but it could be that while they thought this thread was just going to be another wish list they decided to give it a chance to see if there was any worthwhile discussion going on.
As it is, it does not look like it's going to offer anything more than being another wishlist, so it probably will end up being locked.

All that I really ask for (Obviously PD never listens anyway) is to make sure every single car is finished. (premium) Then all cars would be equal and could be brought to photo travel and have their wheels changed (finally updated with a patch). Asking for anything more than that will be way too much for PD to handle. Just take GT5, make all the cars premium, stick with 1,000 cars, and call it GT6 and release it on the PS4. Even better would be to just finish GT5 before moving onto GT6, but its already too late for that. They are already working on GT6. Do NOT release GT6 on the PS3. That would be insulting.

And what exactly is wrong with PD releasing Gran Turismo 6 on the PS3? For PS1, there was GT1 and GT2, for PS2, there was GT3 and GT4, it only make sense that GT5 and GT6 are on the same console. And what about the support for PS4? Will my existing wheel work with it? Or will I have to buy a new one?

It took them 5-6 years to get GT5 released on the PS3 and its still not even close to finished. Each update has been better but there is no way GT6 is coming on the PS3. Not even worth discussing.
Oh also to add to the list. Bring back the reward cinema that shows the car spinning around. I always loved that and it was one of my favorite features of the GT series! In GT5 the reward car just drives forward and you kinda see the front end. So weak.
So it took them 6 years to get GT5 out on the PS3 but you think it would be quicker for them to get GT6 out on brand new hardware again rather than on the PS3 with plenty of assets to already work with? That makes no sense.
Not to mention they started working on GT6 before GT5 was even released.

I say GT6 will be okay on the PS3. It was just new to Kaz and PD at the time when making GT5.Unless you have some proof of that no I won't take your mightier than thou 'my opinion is right and yours is wrong' attitude about it and just let it go.

Does that mean they were working on two games at once when they were also developing GT5? And I guess that means we won't be waiting another 6 years then.
If it's not going to be out on the PS3, then whate date/month has Sony announced that the PS4 will be released? I really hope I don't have to buy a new wheel and I will have to sell my PS3 before the PS4 comes out or it will be worth nothing.

This is your answer. It is still possible that they could launch it on the PS3 since they were working on it before GT5 was even released...
