I’ve been mainly collecting and tuning all the Nissan GTRs since gt7 launched, and every single one doesn’t actually increase 5th gear enough when I adjust the transmission for higher speeds. Deleting my save storage didn’t change a thing. The changes appear to save and some of the other gears are working, but 5th gear stays a little too short once I’m actually driving. I’m not sure how many cars this is affecting, but I’m really tired of buying new cars and the custom transmission for them then having 5th gear run out early every time. At this point I’m not using half my upgraded cars because I can never use the transmission how I want to. The only ones I can use are ones that happen to be able to increase 5th enough for my settings. I’ve tested this in a controlled environment and the gears are still bugged even with no other upgrades on the car. Idk what else to try but I’m tired of paying credits for a bugged and broken version of the transmissions in GT sport.
Not sure if this bug is driving anybody else mad, but if anybody would like to see if it’s affecting their transmission all you have to do is increase 6th all the way, then increase 5th all the way, then test to see if the engine actually goes super low when you shift to 5th. In my case the bug is mainly mattering when I’m increasing 5th to make room for a fuel saving 6th. I still have no idea why this seemingly simple feature is broken for me but I’d really appreciate a fix so I can actually use my gear ratios again. Thanks!
