GT7 Custom Race Problem

When setting up a custom race in Gran Turismo 7, the player cannot drive any of the electric vehicles in Gran Turismo's car list, or it reverts the custom race choices to one-make race only. If the player drives anything other than an electric vehicle, all your competitors can drive electric cars.

Why does this happen, hopefully someone at polyphony digital finds this problem and fixes this, because surely they purposely didn't design this to be that way on purpose.

Any news on this one? Still seems to behave the same way - no garage cars allowed when driving an electric car. Loading custom race preset with garage cars also won't help as the car selection will be reverted to one make (that seems to have been a work-around according to other games but has been "fixed" with some of the updates).

I'm afraid nobody outside PD knows why all those artificial restrictions exist in custom races. And since PD doesn't communicate with the players, we will never get any information on this.

Yea, that's incredibly annoying.

And we're getting a new EV in the next update, that will be useless outside of the odd cafe menu/time trial event.
