Well I guess I'll be avoiding the C races again this week. Unless I get brave enough to do a few next weekend! We will see how my schedule goes and how I feel. I can't promise anything. I have to see how my body reacts to severe stress.

There is no tuning other than BB, which is a shame, I have great setups for G70 and the Lambo, completely transforms them. Now it will be the usual understeer fest, especially on RH, but ok, I will give it a go for sure :D

PD could at least let us tune and modify our cars so we can lower our qualifying times, but they won't even if we whine and beg them to they still won't cooperate. I have low skills at LS, I can't find the right braking points and the U-turn kills my time, so does the two turns before the corkscrew. The last turn can be a lap killer too for me, :banghead:

Ooh some g70 racing again, is there tuning or not in race B?

It just seems like there's always a factor that ruins each week of the daily races, never fails. Either the cars aren't unique and popular, or it's the BoP/PP or the type of track, it's always something that botches the week up.

@Fezzik it would be nice if there would be a Group 1 or 2 battle at LS.
That might be a bit much for anyone bar the aliens, but a nice Gr3 race would be fun. I'm just a bit bored of this combo, especially when it turns into a one-make.

A new track really is desperately needed, or maybe Polyphony will remember that Tokyo exists and hold a Sport race there (wall riding encouraged).

Really bummed with A. Was hoping it would be Fisherman's in something like a GrB car or truck or one of the SUVs, not Colorado. But a FF road car and SR is on? Na. We just got done with a brutal week for SR (RBR and LeMans)!

Not a fan of Gr4 cars or Laguna, and was hoping C would be something new. It's neat that it's something non-Gr3 for the road car people, but we've done the 86 there multiple times before. Could've been, like... any other road car. Oh well.

Hey PD, regarding this week's dailies...

Had SR been off in race A it would’ve been ridiculous and quite terrible, it’s at least doable now. Certainly nothing amazing but okay and we get a Volvo appearance. :D

B and C are terrible though.

Excuse me... what? Stock Volvo with front wheel drive on dirt track???? Joke... There is so much potential in race "A". I think that combo with mx-5's was simply brilliant! Such a not-so-fast semi-racing cars is way to go to get fun and interesting race "A" IMO.

It would have much more nicer with a variety of Group B (rally cars) to choose from, enough said!! And maybe a longer track with one lap (Fisherman's). But again I say PD failed. I didn't see that many people score a time on it either, :(

Lame, but I'll still participate, ugh! I hope I'm not forced to do the C races too.

Out ALOT earlier than normal this weeks guide is here! Bit of an odd week to be honest with you... We've had C before just different tyres and B we've had twice already (1 was VW time trial) so would have been nice to have even just had different tyres or something else.

It'll be a shripm show regardless, IMO.

An FF car on dirt? :odd:

If you enjoy it more power to you!

I guess race A is okay, it just feels really weird driving that Volvo Hatchback on the dirt road, it doesn't feel right. I'll just have to cope with it. Well I'm going to eat breakfast and record my laps for you guys to see later, starting with L.S.

Bye!!

Great race, I hadn't realised so much was going on right behind me.

Guys, I know it's still early Monday morning - but....

And my DR + SR took a massive hit to boot..... Be careful lol, does not seem to be clean at all.... ⚰️

I remember a few months back had a guy do that same move to me at the hairpin. Totally sent it but I closed him off and he ended up in the sand. Post race he was berating me in the chat. Laguna Race B always inspires this kind of racing.

Had a good week at RBR. Set a decent quali time, lots of top 5 finishes, and a few podiums, almost made it to DR A!

Looking forward to Laguna this week b/c it’s Laguna and I’ll be there for the Indy Car race on Sunday.

Good luck to all this week!
Great track, I usually walk the track. I’ll go hang out on that dirt path on the inside of T6 or the cork-screw.

Nothing like being up at the Corkscrew as really fast cars come down the hill. And you can also turn around and walk back see the T11 and the front straight. Watching from Rainey is also good!

I do like laguna seca... but it is gr.4, so that means fire up the upper-B alt account since I am a B driver in gr.4. To my surprise, a pole and win! G70, of course, but it is an alt account so will likely experiment with others.

Tried race C on the main account. I agree we need more road car racing, but this one again. The Alpine weekly challenge seems popular, but no, we can't have nice things. (Qd p5, pushed off at the downhill hairpin, dead last, crawl back to p9)

On another note, maybe it is summer, but my morning lobbies on the main account seem weird. Last week at le mans started with A/A+ lobbies where I did okay. But by thursday/weekend, the lobbies were A/B and filled with a lot of Sr.A/B/C (I am maxed at S). Today's race C was similar, maybe not as bad. Evening lobbies picked up a bit, but did the good drivers get bored with le mans?
