And for anyone who didn't notice, there is a 600% credit factor increase for Race C.

LFA and Mazda seem to be the Meta, I personally prefer the Ford GT to the LFA (LFA is verrrrrry slidey), I'll try the RX Vision later.

I'm about a second a lap quicker in the Ford GT than the LFA tbf, it seems very stable in the corners but I was getting eaten alive by the RX Visions when they had a slipstream

Well I'm not driving the meta car yet, the LFA feels heavy for me to drive. It doesn't navigate those corners really well. Those blasted sweepers are killing my time. I think my 2'00.748 is pretty damn fast since I'm a long-time DS4 controller user.

They finally got around to buffing the payouts for Daily Races...

Now they should stratify the strength of the reward by SR, so people would be more encouraged to race cleanly.

You're still going to have those people, but at least there will be an incentive not to be one! Positive punishment, generally, isn't as powerful.

Wow, J Serrano just took the number 1 spot for Watkins, he is freaking fast at his age. So the LFA and the RX Vision are tied as the meta, now I chose the RX Vision as it has better handling of the corners and sweepers. I reduced my time to 2'00.464. I'm not too far from @MetalApe

I can't stay up too much later, I'll have to work on this some more Wednesday or Thursday. I'll keep in touch, I really hate those sweepers, they are lap killers.

My weapon of choice so far in Race C is the Supra. It can just about keep up with the LFA but jeez that thing can PULL!

As of this afternoon I was sitting pretty as the 4th highest-quali Toyota out there (it's easy to scan through the list when each car has a distinct colour!).

My best finish, perpetually starting 11th, was 5th... Which I'll take for now.

Funny thing is, it's like a swinging pendulum between losing DR from mediocre results, to suddenly earning more of those sweet x6 credits because you've found yourself in a weaker lobby. Not gonna knock it.

The good news about race B is that you can do a race, then do about two practice laps, then race again. I really like that kind of flow. Also, why is it that people don’t seem to like Maggiore? Has it been used too much? (I am new here.)

I’ve noticed lately that minor contact in a race reduces SR, and big contact (intentional or not) really reduces it.

Just want to point out that its not all contact. I was abused pretty hard last week in B and despite my car being hit hard enough to be damaged..many times..i kept getting crb’s. The hits/dmg we’re on front and rear, right and left 1/4 panels and, of course, the rear.

Since it's a long weekend in Canada, I'm a little late posting this video. And, as per usual I have to go against the flow and use a car that I didn't see on my leader boards. It's a little heavy but it was fun to drive.

Did a handful of exploratory laps for each daily.

Race A: 1:36.856 in the Focus RS. Slapped a supersexy swingin' custom Quox's Ridge Racer livery on it.

Race B: 2:00.903 in the NSX Gr.3. Needs work.

Race C: 2:00.817 in the NSX Type R '92. The nervousness through the bus stop chicane doesn't inspire confidence.

It's supposed to be only hits you caused. If someone hits you from behind, that shouldn't affect your SR. It's not close to perfect in deciding whether you deserve it or not, but that's how it's supposed to work.

Also, for some races, going off track can affect your SR, or at least your CRB. On other races, it won't affect it at all. Not sure how they decide which is which.

I'm tired, I took a nap for 5 hours, now I'm refreshed. So, how are you all doing at Maggiore? I'm not trying it yet. It's consisted of Group 3 cars as usual, :irked:

I was able to improve my QT for race A by another 0.6 seconds, but as more and more of the really fast people got their laps in, I dropped a bit on the leaderboard. Still quite happy with it, being less than 0.7 behind @Tidgney (thanks for the ghost!):

The races are good fun, too. I went for two on my practice account, P2 and a win, and it was surprisingly clean and friendly.
