This could be my brain misfiring, but do the RS's seem to lose traction less abruptly than they used to? Exceeding the limit seems way more manageable now. Could be me, tho.😁

There certainly is something going on, when I said in an earlier post that I never used to be able to drive the supra, there’s some sort of delay on the acceleration which I am counteracting with earlier inputs.

When I tried the BMW it was fine, so not a setting thing or my faded brain thing

Haven’t seen many if any ppl spinning off turn, so maybe there’s something in that 😁

Trying to do some of these Daily Races so that I can get the trophy, only on 13 so far.

Just loaded up one on Spa and when I got in I nearly had a heart attack though when I saw it was now B rank and not C. 😵‍💫

All their qualifying times were way better than mine, sitting in tenth place for the rolling start 🫠 Has a relatively lucky race and managed to get up to third through other peoples’ mistakes rather than my own skill, but I’ll take what I can. As much as I’d love to be, I just don’t think I’m able to be in that higher percentile, especially consistently.

Practice practice practice mate.

Keep plugging away, important to get a good qualifying time, but for me the racing is what I do it for, sometimes however, you end up in the middle of those mistakes 😁

First off, congrats on the podium!!👍

IMHO, this is a prime example of why the way they build lobbies is just fine. You showed-up and felt you wouldn't be competitive yet finished third. There's a reason that can happen at all. It comes down to matching drivers based on more than just the simple B/S -vs- C/S moniker.

There's a huge talent spread from the bottom of a rank to the top of it. This isn't true when you're at the crossover point, though, so the further up your rank you go, the more you start to see the next level up in your races. The points system in the background is the 'magic' that makes it work about as good as any system is going to. Those points (that we don't see) define a lot of things about a driver, from pace to consistency.

Again, Op Ed...😁

Don't get discouraged mate, I've been down that road many times. I believe my best rank was #3,107 at the Autopolis track back last year. And it was involving the Group 4 cars, that was my small bit of enjoyment and fame. Thankfully they made the trophy requirements much easier and we don't have to win 300 races to earn a gold trophy. Good luck and hang in there. Would you mind adding me on your friends list later? Thank you.

Spent a couple dozen more laps at Spa's Race B in the NSX Gr.3, trying to improve my performance into and out of heavy braking zones, and shaved a decent chunk off my QT, getting it down to a 2:16.872 (7214 as of posting).

Race 1: Started P3. Got passed by two different cars during the race, but after the leader quit and two cars binned it, I was able to hold on for a P2 podium and celebrate my 100th Top 5 Finish.

Whew, only one race, but I think I'm done with this week's daily races. Breaking in to the 2:16 club at Spa and yoinking a podium was exhausting! 😤 😅

After a week or so of grinding B, a win in the World Series race, followed by some non-quali chaos at Deep Forest today, I can give my first Player Of The Week award to the kerb at Raidillon. Even with RS tyres, this impromptu ramp has filtered many drivers, myself included, into catching half-second penalties. There is no 100% safe option when following someone's Supra up that hill, turning Spa into a game of chickening out and hope they take their screwups somewhere else, like Pouhon. Congrats, kerb at Raidillon. We here at GTP hate your guts.

Spend most of the week trying to master Deep Forest Reverse. QT is deliberately slow and most of the time in the top split even I'm top DR.B, trying to be consistant and stay clean of lap 1 chaos. Race pace is 1.28 on hard pit lap 6 and 1.27 on med, couple of flashes in the 26's. Fisrts haipin was a real challenge to get right and I'm painfully slow in the forest after the two tunnels.

Anyway, I really like this combo, tried couple of different cars but Porsche was really the good one for this challenge.

Got into another good piece of racing fighting for 11th. Yes we are slowing each other by fighting but for 11th, we are not winning anyway.

Best result of the week on a full DR.B grid at peak hours which got me into DR.A.

See ya next week

Hoping to see you and others out there on the track by the first week in December. I need to order my ps4/ps5 on a Monday so it's not sitting in the warehouse. i'll have to use a $50 PS gift card in order to join PS Plus again. However this time I'm choosing the cheapest plan, as long as I can race with you guys and can do daily races and time trials, I'm fine with that. I hope my skills haven't slipped because I have not done any racing or practicing the past month.

I totally missed this combo but I hope you enjoyed your third place finish.

Mixed feelings this week at Spa. Couldn't really digest the Bus stop chicane :banghead:, but I loved going flat out out of Stavelot to Blanchimont or keeping up "easily" with Supras down Eau Rouge and up to Raidillon (only one penalty there in my 1st race with the Supra and none with the M6 😉). Looking forward to the next Spa/Gr3 combo. I need to vindicate that "lovely" Bus stop. Meanwhile the M6 got her livery renewed. She'll be the 911's substitute from time to time.

Had a great week at Spa...peaks-n-valleys kinda thing. Keeps your head in the right space, lol.

I was able to manage two flag-to-finish runs plus one donation. This was said donation. P1 was feeling generous and spun just for me..could've waited 'til lap 5 but I'll take it:

This was one of those times where I couldn't resist punching myself in the face repeatedly, though. Penalties have to be one of the most aggravating of the avoidable dip💩 moves. Picked-up three reminders + touched the grass in the brake zone for the final chicane. That was extra smart. Somehow managed a P4 finish:

@Gurzu I always have mixed random feelings at Spa too and I never know what the outcome of every race will be for me. It's unpredictable and random. Yes, Eau Rouge is a very tricky area if you want to know my opinion. And great livery you made, hope it gave you big amounts of luck in all your races.

@mellofello9 glad you had a fun adventurous week. I missed out on it. So, what are you planning to do for this week, and it's Thanksgiving week too. It might affect how many people participate in the races/tracks this week.
