The playstation support adviced me to reset the PS5. Nothing changed! I wrote also several times on twitter but no reaction so far… This situation is miserable. I‘m waiting for more than three weeks for a solution now, because i‘m stuck in menu book 2!!!An update.
After no response over the weekend from either @gt_online_jp, @thegranturismo I resorted to reaching out to Playstation support via their website chat function. After waiting about 20 minutes, someone advised that there is a known issue, and that my account was now added to the list of people who have reported the problem. There is no timeframe of a fix, but I was advised to login every so often and check if my game was restored, so hopefully I'll be back up and running before the end of the day.
My suggestion would be to reach out to your local Playstation support via this method. The twitter method seems to have worked for some people, but it hasn't worked for me... so rather than make a twitter account, just speak with PS support directly
That's insane! From everything I've seen, the issue is server side. Why they asked you to reset your console, and then have to sit there and download the game again is pathetic. Sony Support, like all supports on the entire world, like to answer with standard e-mails. they know that everybody in this universe like these kind of mails yeaheee… I wrote maybe ten times on the twitter account but still no reaction.That's insane! I contacted PlayStation support via the chat on the website, so I was able to get a hold of someone quickly. The problem is that the response I received today was "our engineers are working on the issue" which is a pretty standard response. I'm thinking that there will be another patch later this week and my game might return to normal.
