GT7 October update predictions

It’s not even disappointment for me anymore.
I’m indifferent to this whole game. It has just become another AAA forgettable title in a beloved franchise that is now dead.
The constant hope of seeing it reach its full potential only to continually wonder “why the ** did they do that" has killed it for me. I mean why the ** would you spend the time to make the prettiest graphics of any console racer and couple it with realistic driving physics on both controller and wheel, to then do what PD have done? The mind boggles.
It really does.

Given a pattern I’ve detected, I predict not simply a new layout this October, but an entirely new racing venue for GT7. It could be a venue that’s new to GT as a whole, as we saw with Watkins Glen, or it could be a returning venue from a previous title, like Grand Valley Speedway or Silverstone.
EDIT: The pattern (so far) is layout-venue-layout, on a bimonthly basis. It started in April with the Spa-Francorchamps 24h layout, and was followed by the introduction of Watkins Glen in June, then the three Catalunya layouts in August. As such, I had (accurately) predicted there would be no layouts/venues added for the September update. But I expect much better things come the end of October.

I expect a track, but I'll struggle to care. It'll have 3 events on that pay like garbage and be overplayed for the next 3 weeks in every form of online until I'm sick of looking at it.
Hard to care about what they add when they offer no incentives for you to play it as a whole.

Yeah I can relate. Once I get all the cars I like, I'll bail. Right now my playtime is 1% GT7 and 99% RDR2.
It really is a shame about this game.

I hope your right on the track. I officially gave up on selling. I deleted my extra dupes this morning. I doubt prize cars will be sellable anyway. By the time the next update gets here I'll probably be down to 10 cars left to buy anyway. I'm alrerady well into tuning everything I use. Credits are about to become pointless to me.

A lot more pain. Seriously:
- Two Hagerty's cars and another VGT
- A remaster of a classic GT fantasy track (probably dirt, to make getting the CRB that much harder) that disappoints just about everybody, with 3 races that pay the equivalent of, respectively, 600,000 Cr./hour, 700,000 Cr./hour and 800,000 Cr./hour...if one can get the strictly-enforced CRB
- Two extra menu collections which require more than 7,000,000 Cr. spent on each, each requiring at least 2 Hagerty's cars (one of which in each collection that won't be available before Christmas), for an engine ticket and a parts ticket
- Another Japanese scapes
- A further nerf of PP adjustments - reducing power and adding weight no longer reduces PP
- And no car selling

It's really sad to me this series feels like it's dying.
No way, I'm in chapter 3 as well, though on my 1st playthrough. Definitely game of the decade for me.

New layout or whole new track. 1-3 new races for that track. 3 cars. Scapes. Various other issues being addressed. Nothing else.

My take:
Those are my predictions/suggestions.
- Seeing as there appears to be a pattern with major updates when it comes to new circuit content (none, new configuration, none, new location, none, new configurations, and none in this latest update), I am guessing we will see a new location next month. Whether or not it is a real-world circuit like Road Atlanta or a fictional location like a Grand Valley return.
- Three new cars, like usual in these updates. Your guesses are as good as mine, as they are going to be random like usual. I hope the Lexus LFA will be a part of the update, personally. Maybe a Pebble Beach GT award winner along with it? Who really knows?
- A new scapes location or two. Again, your guess is as good as mine. My bold prediction is the Badlands in the Central US, but feel free to pitch in with your own.
- One or two new menu books, and one or two extra menus.
- Three new events with three races each. I would like to see the Red Bulls get some love with one-make events for them, but that’s my opinion. I enjoy the Red Bull X cars.
- And, finally, maybe. Just maybe. Not the ability to sell cars or new endurance races in career mode, because that would be ambitious given how PD’s been. But I think we should have more things to do in Sport mode. Maybe the addition of Daily Race D or E for the most seasoned drivers who love a longer and more challenging race in terms of strategy. These races should be longer in length. For instance, Daily Race E could be about an hour long. Payouts need to increase as well for Sport mode races. People need more incentives to do Sport mode.

there are so many of us who bought the game...so PD GOAL is achieved...and that's about it...
I haven't played this game for 3 months today I tried for like half hour ID R ...
it's just 1 hour game every now and then..to try new car 🤣🤣🤣
single player is just money grind..multiplayer is full of crash type people...not much to do

Maybe if they add full Roster f1 season...people could actually enjoy 😅 or lmp1 or gt3..but still there are so many other games that have that...
